'Marriage should be exciting', says DP ahead of her much awaited weddi

With less than 20 days to go for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding, you can only imagine the level of excitement, anticipation to see them as the bride and groom. After all, they have been the much loved couple of Bollywood and the fact they are taking their 6-years long relationship to the next level by getting married only proves what happily ever after means to them.

When Deepika was recently asked in an India Today interview about how excited is she for the wedding and that if she thinks her life will change post marriage, she said, "Of course (I am excited), I think it's the same way that I am excited about signing my next film. Marriage is definitely something I have looked forward to in my life as would any other girl. When it does happen, it will be exciting, it should be exciting. In the same interview, DP also added how much she idolises her mom and dad as the perfect couple and how she wants her married life to be as beautiful as theirs. "I have seen my parents do it so well and so successfully and for me that's the way I would like my married life to be as well.I think they have a beautiful relationship, the way they have managed their professional life and being together as a family and in every way they have set an amazing benchmark for me and my sister and I would love for it to be that way", said Deepika.

Deepika's father Prakash Padukone too joined the actress for this interview. When he was asked about how marriages are organized differently today, he said, "Today, the bride and the groom decide everything, both the parents just tag along.
