May their soul RIP :(

The event has been taking place for 20 years and that too near railway tracks. Why are they even organizing such events in such places? People should also understand that they should stand on the platform or outside it and watch the event instead of risking their lives for a festival. The train driver already got arrested when it was not his mistake :(

It cant be the case, no matter what, that among 50 odd people, no one had the blame. Its obviously the institutions fault which allows for such accidents to take place.

They arrested him ? in the news paper I read that his identity is not revealed by the railway authorities and they are conducting a separate inquiry .

Also he said that there was too much of smoke in the area and visibility was low so he couldnt see properly.

Also no permission was taken from the railway authorities so they didnt know that the event is happening there... who knows if they knew, maybe they would've taken some precautions...

I think major fault lies with the organizers as they should'e kept volunteers to keep the crowd safe...

They said that the drivers statement has been recorded now.

The organizers too have to be blamed and they have been doing it for 20 years at the same place.

Also, two trains passed by. One was 30 seconds before the second train which was slow and passed before the burning of Raavan and second was superfast.

oh, superfast is more difficult to stop in emergency...

seriously, yaar, our administration people need to really really look into these matters...

the other day my friend told me that Kerala flood problem rose to this extent also cause some fools from the administration authorities decided to open all the dams at the same time...

here also had the administrative people taken little bit of precautions, this thing couldve been avoided.
