First of all, if you want to point out that "Unlovable" is not a word, I think you are right but I couldn't think of anything else right now.
In this show, not a single character loves her (Maybe The maid), I don't mean that they do not like her or they don't hold her dear but none loves her unconditionally and in return she loves everyone unconditionally, but everyone has a condition when they love her -
Radhika and Dida - They are supporting Mauli but I don't see them trying decrease her pain, they are the sole reason of what she is going through after she filed for divorce. I guess they love her but their condition is that kunal should be with her at any cost, even if he makes her miserable.
Kunal - I don't know what to say about this man, he has changed from a feminist fighting for women to a man who thinks his wife is stooping low and because of this she lost the respect he had for her. The nerve, he cheats on her, he slept with other woman, he tells Nandini - Hamare apne jo saja denge wo ham lenge. But when Mauli even says a word to his girlfriend he manhandled her.
Nandini - Mauli did everything she could for her, Nandini's husband is trying to burn her but this woman wouldn't realize that Mauli saved her from this very torture. She loves Mauli but her condition is that Mauli is not a man. Nandini will always toss Mauli for a man.
Mauli's family - At first I thought Mauli has spent her life among loved ones but it seems more and more difficult because she tries so hard to be loved and I guess it's because of her mother, she always fought for her mother's love but looks like she never received it, her father and brother are nonexistent.
I just want to understand, what it is that makes Mauli so unlovable?
