Toshiji got happy hearing ishita's words and said -i just want to hear this,ki mera puttar hamesha khush rahega. Thank u puttar, I am trusting u for my son, just the way u trust raman and us for Ruhi. Jaise tu apni beti ki khushi chahti hai, Main apne bete ki chahti hoon, hope u will not disappoint me. She said smiling and ishita said -never, aunty ji. I promise, meri wajah se raman kabhi dukhi nahi honge. In fact woh dukhi hi nahi honge. Being his wife, it will be my responsibility to keep him happy always. She said making toshiji happy while Raman was shocked and angry seeing her lying so effortlessly.
Toshiji -toh shaadi ki preparations shuru ki jaaye, Main pandit ji bulaun??
Ishita nodded in yes.
Toshiji-ok, u go to ur room while I call the pandit. She said and ishita went to her room lost in her thoughts.
Ishita reached her room and was going inside when she felt a hold on her hand. She turned and saw raman standing there holding her hand.
Ishita -raman Aap, why u r holding me so tightly??she asked and raman turned her in anger and said -i accepted ur every condition but iska matlab yeh nahi ki tum mere saath aisa karogi.
Ishita look at him all confused and asked -Kya kiya maine??
Raman -oh, toh miss ishita iyer, the great lawyer ko nahi pata ki usne kya kiya. he said in anger.
Ishita -raman, don't talk in riddles. Kya kiya Maine??
Raman -u really don't know what u did. Tumne meri maa se jhooth kyun bola. Why did u lied that u will be a good wife and will never make me unhappy??
Ishita -toh isme galat kya hai, aap khush nahi rehna chahte??
Raman -ofcourse, but tum toh yeh sab nahi karne wali naa. Toh jhooth kyun bola that u will take care of me, when u will not??
Ishita -maine jhooth nahi bola, Main jhooth nahi bolti. Main joh kehti hoon,woh karti hoon. Maine joh kaha hai woh karungi, got it. If I said that ur happiness is my responsibility then I will take care of it. She said and went inside.
Raman was amused at her words and said mimicking her -main joh kehti hoon, woh main karti hoon.he said and then said in rowdy style -Aur main joh nahi kehti woh main definitely karti hoon, Iska matlab nahi kaha mujhe pyaar karegi, that means she will definitely fall for me. He said smiling and went to his room whistling.
Ishita sat on the bed and start thinking about the happenings of the day. Starting from asking raman to marry her with her unreasonable conditions ,to his parent accepting her as his wife along with the promise she made to toshiji.
Ishita -kyun kiya maine aisa, I was so firm in my decision that our marriage will be only for Ruhi then why I promised aunty ji that I will take care of raman's happiness. Yeh toh tere decision mein tha hi nahi then why I did this. May be because I felt so small infromt of them. May be because main zarurat se jyada selfish ho rahi thi. Itna selfish hona achcha nahi hota, woh bhi itne achche logon ke saath. Main bhi toh achchi hoon, haan mere saath bura hua tha, but Raman aur uske parent ne toh nahi kiya, then how can I be so selfish with them. Nahi maine thik kiya, Raman mujhse Ruhi ke liye shaadi kar rahe hai toh itna toh main kar hi sakte hoon. I can take care of him, I can give him a reason to smile. But what if he ask me for physical relationship, nahi nahi I can't be physical to anyone. Mujhe raman se baat karni hogi, I have to clear this. She thought and walked out of the room in a jiffy.
She entered his room without knocking .he was changing his shirt when she entered his room, both look at his bare chest and turn on the opposite direction.
Ishita -i am sorry, I am sorry. She said while Raman wore his tee and said turning her -kya,abhi shaadi hui nahi hai, ki tum aise ghuse chali jaa rahi ho. Meri bhi koi izzat hai, uss par danka mat daalna. He said smiling pretending to hide himself from ishita .
Ishita -aisa kuch nahi hai,main toh bas, she was saying when Raman said -i know I am handsome, aur mujhe dekh kar tempt hona is quite natural, but at least shaadi tak toh wait kar lo. Uske baad I am all urs, he said and winked.
Ishita -aisa kuch nahi hai, I am not tempted. Main kuch bolne aayi thi, but I think u r not in a mood to listen. So I think I should go in place of listening ur nonsense. She said and was going when he held her hand and before she could understand anything, he pulled her to him. She landed on his chest while her open hair got scattered on his chest.
Ishita broke the hug, she combed her hair. She look at him angrily and said -behave Mr bhalla. I don't like all this.
Raman -kya, I just stopped u from going. Pull thoda jyada tez ho gaya, sorry. He said making her stand comfortably leaving her.
Ishita was still glaring him when he said -ab bhi gussa, phir pakad loon. He asked innocently making ishita look away smiling. He too smiled and said -now u r looking good. U know like my bride.
Ishita -raman.
Raman -what??
Ishita -stop doing all this.
Raman -kyun, I am just trying to behave normally, like a couple.
Ishita -but we r not a couple, remember. We r marrying just for Ruhi.
Raman -but yeh baat sabko toh nahi pata hoga naa. He said making her look at him.
Raman -try to adjust with this, yeh couples ke beech normal hota hai, yeh ched chad, yeh nok jhok,sab relative aayenge, u have to be normal. U know all shy and blushing bride. Jyada nahi, for two -three days, once they r gone, u can be back to ur lady raavan Kumar avataar. He said and then made a sorry face.
Ishita -aapne kya kaha mujhe, lady raavan Kumar.
Raman -sorry, woh muh se nikal gaya. Agli baar I will be careful.
Ishita -its OK.
Raman -tumhare muh par nahi bolunga, sirf mann mein sochunga.he said and start laughing while ishita made an angry face.
Raman saw her and said -ok sorry, but on a serious note, tum hamesha itne gusse mein kyun rehti ho. Has liya karo, hasne ke paise nahi lagte.
Ishita -but Ek reason chahiye hota hai.
Raman -u have naa reason, Ruhi aur ab toh main bhi hoon. Ur very own handsome husband. He said smiling.
Ishita gave a slight smile and said -i gotta go. She said and turn to go.
Raman -arey joh kehne aayi thi, woh toh kaho,warna mujhe lagega bas mujhe taadne aayi thi tum. He said teasing her again.
Ishita turn to him and saw him smiling. She didn't feel like taking that topic. She just nodded her head and said -kuch khaas nahi.
Raman saw her and realised that it is something important. He walked to her and said -kya hua, ishita. Is everything fine??
Ishita -kuch nahi, kuch bhi toh nahi.
Raman made her look at him and said -tum wakai jhooth nahi bol paati, so tell me the truth.
Ishita -i made promise about keeping u happy.
Raman -haan toh?? Nahi rakhna chahti??
Ishita -but I can't give u any physical pleasure. Main aapko khud ke kareeb aane nahi de sakti. Aap mein koi kami nahi, it's my problem. Maine aapko maa se jhooth nahi bola, but it's just I can't share myself to anyone. I can't let anyone touch me. She was saying looking down while he could feel her shivering, she was having goosebumps saying that like she remembered something very scary. The girl who never hesitate to say anything,who fearlessly proposed him for marriage was literally shaking saying those words. He so wanted to comfort her but can't touch her without her permission,so he said -tumhe kyun lagta hai ki shaadi ke matlab physically inmate hona hi hota hai. He said making her look at him.
Raman -i mean it's necessary but other things r also necessary. Physically intimacy last stage hoti hai and I will never force u for that. Infact I didn't expected that from u. Kyunki mere liye khushiyon ka matlab kuch aur hota hai. Seeing ur loved ones smiling is my way of getting happy. So just keep smiling, coz u r going to be added in my list of loved ones. He said smiling and she look at him.
Raman -smile ishita, I didn't expected that from u. Haan but kuch hai joh tum mujhe de sakti ho.
Ishita -kya??
Raman -ur friendship. Arey yaar we r going to get married. Hume Ek dusre ko umar bhar jhelna hai, toh it will be easy, if we become friends.trust me, I will be a good friend. Toh dost banogi meri?? He asked forwarding his hand.
Ishita thought for a while and nodded in yes shaking hand with him.
Raman -congratulations, u have got a wonderful friend in me. Go and enjoy the moment. He said and she was going when he hold her hand and said forwarding a chocolate towards her -achche kaam ki shuruwat kuch meethe se karte hai. Toh, kuch meetha ho jaaye.
Ishita took the chocolate and was going when he said -sharing is caring.
Ishita open the chocolate and gave him half. He opened his mouth and she fed him. He smiled and she went.
Raman -kehte hai Ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte, mohabbat beech mein aa hi jaati hai. Let's see yeh dosti kahan tak jaati hai. Kaafi filmy ho gaye ho, Raman. Itne twist and turns joh aa rahe hai life mein, filmy hona banta hai. He said and went to do his work licking his finger and singing a song.
