yes the reviews were terrible.

I used to be a Kajol fan in 90s but nowadays she has become a non versatile lousy actress. She always choose roles similar to her loud OTT offscreen personality.She is more interested in looking good than acting I think. Better to retire before ruining own legacy.

Kajol with her limited acting is fantastic in certain roles. Specially loud roles in a mainstream movie. She adds value to a mainstream movie as young much as young girls.

Anything other than that, she fails miserably.

It didn't work because the execution was not good. It has nothing to do with Kajol and her calibre.

According to this forum Aishwarya is a the most worthless actress and her flop films have opened to decent numbers.

I agree I saw the film although it was not as bad as people made it out to be it was still not great either. It was still better than Laga Chunari Main Daag by the same filmmaker but not as good as Mardaani or Parineeta.

Helicoper Eela fell on Monday as it collected 45 lakhs nett. The first week is heading for a total of a little over 4.50 crore nett. The collections of Helicopter Eela till date are as follows.

Friday - 75,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 1,10,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 1,30,00,000 apprx

Monday - 45,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 3,50,00,000 apprx

Tumbbad collected a little more than Friday and is now the best collecting film of the new releases but it makes little difference to the fate of the film as collections and more importantly occupancy is very low. It should eventually be the highest collecting of the new releases as it will have some second weel collections. The first week should be around 4.75 crore nett. The collections of Tumbbad till date are as follows.

Friday - 50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 1,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 1,25,00,000 apprx

Monday - 55,00,000 apprx

Total - 3,30,00,000 apprx

Jalebi collected 25 lakhs nett on Monday and will see the first week close at around 2.50 crore nett. The collections of Jalebi till date are as follows.

Friday - 40,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 60,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 65,00,000 apprx

Monday - 25,00,000 apprx

Total - 1,90,00,000 apprx

FryDay will finish the week at a little over 1.50 crore nett. The collections of FryDay till date are as follows.

Kajol isn't as popular as people believe she is. Even in her prime, she wasn't that big of a pull. It was her pairing with SRK or the times she worked with big stars like Salman or Ajay that gave her the lift.
