I have a feeling this whole Me Too movement is a sham. AB is no saint, but what kinda revolution is this? If it was that easy and accessible, why was this movement hiding under the rock all the while?

Sorry, but something surely doesn't add up.

Why would you say it is a sham? Maybe women are finally finding their voices and letting it out in the open. And maybe, to see that they could get justice after all (in the US, the fall of Cosby, Weinstein etc ) is another huge factor. Also, it is common knowledge that even if one person is brave enough to come forward and talk about their abuses, the rest will follow suit. It's not easy to name big people knowing the repercussions it will have on their personal as well as their professional lives.

Look at the thread on this forum itself where the TM asked if anyone here had #MeToo moments in their life. A huge percentage of us here have experienced the same as well. So DO NOT undermine the experiences of women by brushing it off saying "why didn't you talk about it earlier?" Like really? 🥱

But ofcourse, there maybe many men/women misusing this #MeToo movement. We all need to be wary and gauge each incident separately.

Sorry, but something surely doesn't add up.

Its not a sham...atleast when it started with Tanushree it wasn't ...but it is being diluted for sure...like the Dowry law which is used by SOME cunning and educated women to get back at their in-laws...this movement will be used by SOME cunning people to get back at those who not necessarily harass them but may be rejected them for a role or maybe politicians to get down their rivals as this is all about celebrities and more than anyone else...the media will be abusing this movement...they already have started by putting out blinds...adding a popular name to the head lines to grab eyeballs..everyone is making hay while this movement is on...there are genuine victims speaking in between but no one will find out who they are...

and guess what...people like Aloknath...must be feeling relieved now...evetyone is being called a sexual predator now...so its no big deal if they are also being called one...this is how every good thing is ruined by people who abuse it.

Yeah but its being misused now to make things up such as AB Senior being dragged in, it's becoming a joke ppl are in it for the bytes the tea the gossip the genuine few are lost in the crowd now
