I never liked Shaheer as an actor. He has a wooden face and isn't even good looking. But as Salim he isn't that bad. I guess the role of an angry prince is suiting with his acting skills. đ So far liking how tormented he is. The only positive things in his life are his mother and Anarkali though he had to stay away from them for so long.
It's really hard to accept Sonarika in an innocent and sweet role after adoring her as Mrinal the warrior princess from PB. đ
I actually liked that she didn't want to show up in front of him while he was desperate to meet her and was angry that she is showng attitude. đ I think their face to face happened too soon. It reminded me of Saraswati Chandra. I loved the first two weeks when Kumud refused to show her face to Saras but as soon as he saw her, the charm of the show dropped flat. đ I hope it won't happen with this show too. đ
Apart from the father-son conflict, the show is quite boring. Salim Anarkali have chemistry hope their story will be interesting.
