I agree. He was only concerned about saving his mom. He really didn't realize how much he scared Pia.

That look of hurt was awesome when Pia woke up and was scared of him!!

I am happy that he is being open to Pia now. She needs to know all to understand him well. But why is a -ve effect needed to recognize a soulmate? It could have been that both of them felt a pull towards each other. Or something+ve. Why is the pain needed? May be the effect will go right after engagement only. I dont want them to wait till marriage for the effect to go.
