It's been over three weeks and I'm sure we all have our favourites by now.
This is my ranking of the contestants based on performance, entertainment, screen time, and how much I'm enjoying their game/game plan.
1. Neha - she's shrewd, she's sly, she's playing games even with her friends, fantastic in tasks and also contributes to house chores. She was initially quite and didn't get enough screen time but she's now making her presence felt. I see her as a potential finalist. Atleast in the top 5 for sure.
2. Saba and Somi - their unity is their biggest strength. If one gets a little weak, the other stands up. They're loud and boisterous, the create unnecessary drama, they fight but they're also friendly. They perform fairly well in tasks and you'll often see them doing household chores. I don't see them in the finals but I see them in the top 7-8.
3. Sreesanth - love him or hate him, but you can't ignore him. He aggressive yet childish, emotional yet strong. He doesn't care if he's the only one swimming against the tide. His tantrums of wanting to go home are hopefully over. i think we're beggining to see Sreesanth 2.0. If he can continue to play like this he's got it in him to be in the top 5, and maybe even win. He'll have to be more participative though.
4. Anup & Jasleen - they grabbed eyeballs since they entered the house due to their age difference. Then Bigg Boss helped them big time with the date, their temporary break up also garnered a lot of attention. And now expect more drama with Anup in the secret room and his reentry. They're both mature and playing with their minds, since physical tasks may not be very easy for Anup. I don't see them as a Jodi going too far. But if they split, Jasleen has the potential.
5. Karanvir - Hes playing safe, being the peace maker and the elder in the house (after Anup) but tags clearly not working. This week has seen him take stands, be a part of drama and open up. Being Dalmans target in WKW is also helping him. He still needs to open up. He seems capable of playing mind games and if he starts now he's a potential finalist. Leave it for too late and I see him only till the top 5-6.
6. Deepak and Urvashi - I do find them very very annoying. Deepak is like some woman snitching all the time. It's like he has verbal diarrhoea. Many people found him endearing but now he's only irritating. But can't deny the fact, that a god 40% of the episode revolves around him. He's been made fun of, but that's only giving him more screen time and probably sympathy. Urvashi is now beginning to speak up, but she's still as good as non existant. Since Deepak has been exposed as being loyal to no one I don't see him winning, but he's garebering trps and I see him make it to the top 6-7.
7. Dipika - she's shrewd and sly, and also intelligent. But she's not being able to play herself. She's always playin with either Neha or Karanvir. I'd like to see her individual game. She's fairly decent in tasks, but also melodramatic. But then again she's an actress and I expect some drama. Fighting isn't everyone's way of gaianing trps. She's been in the background this week since other have shone. She'll go far and maybe even win because she's a popular tv actress and has a fan base. Besides I've never seen her get grilled.
8. Shivashish and Saurabh - I really like Saurabh. He is smart and he's the brain in the Jodi. But like Karanvir he's playing it very safe. While that may prevent him from being nominated by other contestants, it's not going to be like that for long. Shivashish on the other hand is a blabber mouth. Likes to talk and do nothing more. If only he let Saurabh take the lead I can see them progressing. Judging by the way things are they'll be gone in another 2-3 weeks, unless there's some wild card round, or things drastically change.
9. Romil and Surbhi - Surbhi makes the Khan sisters seem like angles. She talks too much crap. She's uncouth and has no qualms. She's come in to cause fights and grab screen time. Alas, this time the people are quite peace loving, and she's coming across as a villain. As for Romil there's no doubt he's smart, and can play games, but with a partner like Surbhi he has no chance. There's zero understanding and they should see the exit door next.
10. Srishti - the only time I notice her is in the wake up song dance and when she's all ready on WKW. No content, hardly any rapport with people, don't see her shining in tasks, she's almost invisible. She will be gone very soon. In her case doesn't seem even a showmance will save her.
