Ishita ran to pick the phone and picked it.
Ishita -hello, she said taking deep breathe when she heard -what happened, kanna. Tum itne tez saansein kyun le rahi ho??
Ishita look at the number and said -appa, aap??
Appa -haan main, u came to meet me that day but I couldn't. Then u caught drink and driving. Aur mujhe abhi pata chala ki Raman Singapore chala gaya. Why u let him go, aise toh woh tumhare haath se nikal jayega. U should have informed me. Main abhi uske boss se baat karne usse wapas bulata hoon, he was saying when ishita's phone beep. She saw the call waiting on raman, she got happy and said -appa, I will talk to u later. Saying so she hung the call and picked the phone in a jiffy.
Ishita -hello.
Raman didn't said anything, was just holding the phone when ishita said -hello raman.
Raman -how r u??
Ishita smiled hearing his voice and said -i am missing u, Raman. Please wapas aa jaiye. She said and next moment he heard her cry.
Raman -ishita, please don't cry.
Ishita -aap mujhe chod kar chale gaye, Raman. Yahin reh kar daante mujhe, mujhe aapka gussa manzur hai, aapse judaai nahi. Aap please aa jao. Main achchi biwi banungi aapki, I promise I will do whatever u will say. Please aa jao, Raman. I just can't live without seeing u, Raman.
Raman -i can't come, ishita. Maine yahan kaam join kar liya hai. I can't come before completing it. He said feeling bad for her pain.
Ishita -aap Ek baar haan bolo,main appa se bol kar aapki wapas bulwa lungi. He was telling me that he will tell ur boss to call u back. She said making Raman angry.
Raman -nahi aana mujhe wapas, u will never change. He said and hung the call.
Ishita got confused why he suddenly got so angry and tried to call him again but his phone was switched off.
Ishita -pata nahi kyun gussa ho gaye, she thought and went downstairs.
On other hand, Raman threw the phone in anger and said -ishita kabhi nahi badal sakti. She is all about money and pride. I was a fool to think that she can ever change for me. He said and went out.
Ishita went downstairs all confused when Toshiji asked -baat hui teri, raman se??
Ishita -kahan, he hung the call. Gussa ho gaye, pata nahi kyun??
Toshiji -gussa ho gaya. Kyun??
Ishita -mujhe kya pata, call him and ask. Bahut gussa karte hai mujhpe. Ek toh mujhe chod kar chale gaye, I am so alone without him aur woh mujhpar hamesha gussa karte hai. She said making a baby face.
Toshiji smiled and said -jarur tuns kuch kiya hoga??
Ishita -i didn't do anything. I just told him to come back. Woh bhi ro kar.
Toshiji-then what he said??
Ishita -he said he can't, work commitment hai.
Toshiji -then what u said??
Ishita -maine kaha aap haan keh do, appa will take care of it. Toh gussa ho gaye, batao, isme koi gussa hone ki kya baat hai.
Toshiji -gussa hone ki toh baat hai hi. She said making ishita look at her all confused.
Ishita -Matlab??
Toshiji -matlab yeh ki kisi bhi self respect wale insaan ko yeh baat buri lagegi.
Ishita -kyun maa,main samjhi nahi.
Toshiji -baith puttar, main samjhati hoon. Listen my words carefully and try to understand. She said and ishita settle down to listen her.
Toshiji -dekh puttar, mera raman bahut self respect wala ladka hai, usse tere paise yaa tere appa ki pahunch mein koi interest nahi hai.
Ishita -i know maa, tabhi toh woh mujhe itne pasand hai. That's why I love him so much. But Iska gussa hone se kya connection hai.
Toshiji -toh woh nahi chahte ki tere appa, usse kisi tarah bhi help karen.he is a self made man and dony wanna take any favour from ur appa.
Ishita -par maa isme galat kya hai. Jaise shaadi ke baad Aap dono mere parent ki tarah ho, toh appa bhi toh raman ke parent ki tarah hue. Then how appa helping raman is wrong. Woh bhi toh raman ko apna kanna samjhte hai, like the way he treats me. Kya raman, appa ki parent ki tarah respect nahi karte.
Toshiji -ofcourse he do. But will not take any favour from him.
Ishita -but maa, woh favour nahi unka pyaar hai. He loves raman like the way loved me. Toh isme galat kya hai, maa.
Toshiji -main tujhe kaise samjhaun. Pyaar apni jagah hoti hai aur self respect apni jagah. Tujhe raman ke din mein jagah banane ke liye, usse yeh kehna bandh karna hoga that ur appa will do everything for u two. Raman khud tere liye sab kuch karna chahta hai. And he will do everything for u, just stop telling him to take help from ur appa. Kyunki usse kisi ki help nahi chahiye. He is capable of giving u a lifestyle u want. Haan shayad,yeh car, yeh helps, yeh sab arrange karne mein usse time lage but he will love to do all this for u.
Ishita -toh agar main appa ko mana kar dungi, Raman ki help karne ko. Then he will be happy??
Toshiji nodded in yes.
Ishita -r u sure?? Kyunki har koi appa se sirf advantage lena chahta hai. Aur raman, jisse appa help karna chahte hai, he don't want it.
Toshiji -yes, he will be happy. Puttar, tujhe uske dil mein utarne ke liye, khud ko thoda badalna hoga. I will not say to change urself completely but adjust a little bit.apne pati ke rang mein rang kar hi tum uske dil mein utar paaogi. Thoda saa khud ko badal le,puttar.tu bahut achchi hai, u just have to show ur brighter side to him.
Ishita -main samajh gayi, maa. I have to respect his feelings. I have to keep his wishes over mine.
Toshiji -itna kuch karne ki zarurat nahi, just don't bring ur status in between u and Raman. Yeh kehna bandh kar do ki tumhare appa sab kuch handle kar denge. Stop looking at ur parent for everything, stop looking and expecting things from Raman. He will like it, use yeh batao that u have started expecting things from u. Give him ur responsibility and let him handle it. Isse hum dono ka rishta strong hoga. She said making ishita think.
Both were talking when Mr bhalla came and said -arey kuch chai wai milega??
Toshiji -aap baithiye, Main chai banati hoon. She said getting up when ishita said -main banaun chai??
Mr and Mrs bhalla look at each other in disbelief when ishita said -please let me try, papa ji. Mujhe sab seekhna hai, I want to become a perfect wife for Raman.
Mr and Mrs bhalla smiled hearing her and allowed her. Toshiji went with ishita and instructed her to make tea. She made tea and all had it. It was good and mr bhalla praised her.he gave her money and she said -i don't need it, I have cards.
Toshiji -yeh neg hai, puttar. Har bahu ko milta hai, paise nahi aashirwad hai hamara. She said and ishita took the money. She thought for a while and then bend to take their blessings. Mr and Mrs bhalla were pleasantly surprised and blessed her.
The rest of the day passed in a jiffy and at night ishita called raman, when she went to bed.
Raman was in his office working and picked the call without seeing the number.
Raman -hello.
Ishita -i love u jaan. Love u alot. Muuaah, she said giving him flying kiss making Raman smile.
Raman -tum soyi nahi ab tak??
Ishita -nahi, was with maa. Abhi aati hoon room mein. Aap kya kar rahe hain?? She said while Raman was surprised hearing, maa, from her.
Raman -kaam kar raha hoon, tum bolo. Baat kar li apne appa se, mujhe wapas bulane ke liye.
Ishita -nahi, I want u to work there. Khoob mann lagaa kar kaam kijiyega, I want my husband to be successful in his life, unke khud ke dum par, kisi ki help se nahi. She said making Raman shocked.
Raman -phir nasha kar liya kya??
Ishita -kuch bhi raman, I really want u to be successful. Toh Aap achche se kaam kariye,i will wait for my raman. She said making Raman smile.
Raman -thank u ishita, thank u for understanding me at last.
Ishita -but aapko mere liye kuch gift laana hoga.
Raman -main, what can I bring for u. U have everything and much money to buy everything.
Ishita -yeh kaun si baat hui, mere paas sab kuch hai but aapka diya hua gift nahi hai. I want something from u. Aap mere liye kuch achcha saa laaiyega,infact bahut saara gift laayega. I love opening the gift wrappers. She said cutely making Raman smile.
Raman -ishita, u r such a kid.
Ishita smiled and said -i wanna be ur baby, Raman.mujhe bas aapki ban kar rehna hai. She said smiling making him smile too.
