Hi Ross
Yes Aisa Bhi Hota hai.
We had small fight and I got very angry but when I was reading your OS I came to Vishakha's part and how she regrets now for that small fight so I got emotional. I was in tears immediately my husband said sorry and our fight ended.
By the way he only says sorry all the time I never do but still he loves me a lot.

Hi Ross... So finally I reached here as well...!! 😃

Okay... First of all I feel very happy to see another story from you so soon after the OS Contest... looks like you have a pile of ideas in your head... and now your are fleshing them out into words... good going...!! 👏👏

What I liked most is the core message - so often we do not understand that it is so so wrong to take our loved ones for granted... it starts with parents and then with our spouse. We just think that they are a "standard" part of our life, always going to be there... but we forget how important part they are too... When we think about it, this is such a small thing to realize - just like your title says "chhoti si baat" - but the enormous implication of forgetting this chhoti si baat is often not understood by people.

And now... something that I would like to see you do differently in your next story... as writers we all have our core set of characteristics for our characters that we stick to. e.g. Sameer could be protective, possessive, stubborn etc... but the way we use this characteristics to flesh out a character or a story is always different...

In your two OS what I observed was that Sameer is always trying to mess up something that can be achieved in a much simple manner... I believe (and please correct me if I am wrong) you are trying to use his impulsive nature and the childlike behaviour he sometimes exhibits, to portray how he always chooses a path that is not so great / proper if given a proper thought to.

- OS 1: Sameer trying to bring obstacles in his own wedding bcz of a filmy thought to prove sachcha pyaar
- OS 2: Sameer trying to bring obstacles in his married life to irritate Naina

I felt a slight disconnect with your Sameer in OS 2... Along with the impulsive nature and childlike behaviour Sameer has, he also holds a depth of love for Naina that no one can compare to. Even in joke he cannot say hurtful words to her, or point fingers at Chachaji...

I would like you to think of a story or concept where you can use these same characteristics in a way that does not require him creating obstacles or doing such stupid things...

Hope I was clear in explaining my thoughts... 😳

One more thing that I loved was how Naina knew that Sameer didn't have any girlfriend named Sayali... though I don't think that Sameer would ever dare to take any other girl's name like this... but I felt this showed the confidence he had in his wife - that she might get mad, but won't leave him... 😊

So... ab third OS kab aa raha hai?? 😉
