Nandini is supposed to have come from a very conservative family where she had never seen progressive men even.. She is supposed to be very particular about rituals and things like that where she advices Mauli to wear bangles for her husband even though the woman has to take them off during surgeries.. She has so orthodox thinking that she didn't leave her husband after years of abuse since pati parmeshwar hota hai.. She never dresses in anything except sarees although her getup really doesn't suit a conservation one..
And there is this Nandini who has no idea whatsoever about the rituals.. She takes a ganpati murti to someone's home when they have invited her for a puja.. As far as I have learnt we never do such things since we know that person would have got a murti and only one murti is worshipped in one house.. Again she calls pandits for a puja where she has to sit with her jodidar @ husband I believe.. There she plans to sit in the puja with someone else's husband.. I really don't think a woman from such a background has really no idea about these simple things.. Either she has lost it or she was pretending to be sanskari whereas she only follows those rules when it suits her wishes and shows her as cultured infront of others...
