Let's assume that she had an accident or something (that should have been revealed) which led to her brain death...and then either her family members or the doctors decided to donate her heart...and it matched with Ashima's heart. When Sheetal got to know Mayank's feelings after death...she did all this to unite Mayank and Ashima.
