Because of her, he also got a chance to get some publicity among the young crowd? Their relationship comes across as fake; seriously if she failed the task, both get nominated. Not just him. So, she's digging her own grave as well, not just sacrificing him. And what has he done to help her stay in the house? Juts praising her?

The clothes/hair/makeup drama was a weak excuse for a pre-planned break up
