I dont know what happened to her but I believe the Legal System should intervene and figure that out.
Why should the onus be on Aamir or Shahid or Ranbir to say something? Yes, they can make a statement to say that any kind of harassment is bad...but why should they get involved to the extent of boycotting Nana Patekar? or protesting in public for Tanushree?...Even that Shiny Ahuja got a film after raping someone - that doesnt mean that the people who worked with him in that film supported him.

I am not saying whats wrong or right...but the law should decide what to do...why is an Akshay Kumar going to get involved and take Tanushree's side? Why should he? Who gave him that much importance that he do the law's job😆? I wouldnt if I was in his place. Is it wrong to think like that? 😕

After it gets proven - then yes they can say that it was wrong or right...but I dont think they need to battle for Tanushree

Though I feel she is telling truth but we don't know other side of the story yet. Her word against many. Hope she gets justice.
When coming to work with Nana :
Asking everyone and questioning everyone not to work with Nana just because she put her alligations is not right.

Once proved then we can boycott Nana. Then she can ask and question whoever works with him.

I honestly feel its a case of misunderstanding... Though I know and accept that Nana is a weird personality and has anger issues, but he has never sexually assaulted anyone, and he is a famous personality in Marathi Industry...

and hence I wouldnt want anyone to play legal authority and punish him without legal case...

as for those MNS hooligans threatening her, they are that way, who react with slightest provocation, doesnt mean Nana Patekar ordered them to do so... yea, if there is proof that he did, then I will blame him for that, but not otherwise...

and yes, if he has behaved violently with Ayesha Jhulka and Manisha Koirala during their relationship, then he needs to be punished for that... but that is a different case...

I was thinking the same ..why would anyone fight for her..?she is an independent strong woman if it happened to her she should file a complaint back then nstead of taunting other superstars ,who are not there at the incident not supporting her blindly cos she is woman ..sorry !
I am not taking nana side but its seems like one side story ..but yes I like him as an actor..

I agree. I think it's wrong to take sides without knowing all the facts. If it's true, then I hope Tanushree gets her justice. But this is such a sensitive issue. So far the only things we have besides Tanushree's statement are a journalist's account of what she saw (her opinion), and a video which looked like it was the media gone crazy.

The #MeToo movement worked not only cause of the support, but there was evidence to back up the claims. There were investigations, woman after woman coming forward saying "Yes. He did the same to me". It gave others the courage to come forward with their stories too. But then there were stories that were untrue or misconstrued by one or both of the parties involved. The incident with Aziz Ansari comes to mind.

Let's not jump on the bandwagon. Form your thoughts based on evidence. To agree blindly is also very dangerous. I'm not a huge fan of Nana Patekar but let's hear his side of the story. Two sides to every coin. Two (or many) sides to a story.

I do feel it is a society's job to stand up against misogyny. If they aren't going to face repercussions then what's the point of talking out about it. Actions speak louder then words. If they claim they believe Nana is a misogynist. They should treat him like one.

Shiny's career was over once he got convicted. But again rape leaves behind evidence. Harassment and molestations only have eye witnesses at most for evidence. Especially after 10 years.

@Bold: Wow! Isn't that a tall statement/conduct certificate about someone that you supposedly have only known through movies or public appearances? This is a statement even a mother cannot make about her own child because nobody knows what one does in their private space, including ones own parents!

Yeah but its hard to take sides when something isnt proven. Plus Tanushree is behaving entitled and it seems more like shes angry than hurt.

Also no one took Jiah Khan's side and she ended up dying, instead of her murderer is doing films

As a woman did she support & took side of sayali bhagat when she accused AB for sexual harrasing ? Then why she expects from others to speak for her ?
