One thing I don't understand is is this naagin 3 the same universe with naagin 1 and 2? I mean yeah the brand is the same which is naagin. The concept is the same showing a story of an ichadari naagin. But, is it the same universe and related at all to naagin 1 and 2? Because, if I remember correctly and please correct me if I'm wrong. In season 1 it was mentioned that naagin and human could not br together. That was the the reason why shivanya tried to reject being together with rithik. She lost her power after her consumation with rithik. It was mentioned again and again that the consequences between the union of human and naagin will be dire. And the naagin will lose all her power. Now why is the gurudev baba telling bella that she should be together with mahir. Why is he telling her that mahir is her jeevan saathi and true love? Will she not lose power and face dire consequences the way shivanya did? Is this same universe with naagin 1 and 2? Is there a plot hole?

According to season 1 shivanya was selected for rithik to protect him and visa versa(see the episode where the b aba gives blessing )but here the matter is different here they are soulmates destined to be together.
