Seeing the trend , the actresses are pulling the crowd more than the actors.

Except Aamir , Salman and SRK.

Shouldn't they get paid more now? Because that was the logic given by the film makers that who is getting the crowd will get paid more money

only Deepika & maybe Alia , a big NO to everyone else . their initial box office pull is still less than people like Karthik Aryan

I would say Deepika and Alia. You can argue Katrina/Kareena (because of popularity especially in the right role)

Of course the top actresses who can sell films on their own name should get paid more than they are at present. They should be paid according to the length of role they have, their seniority and also their selling power.

Vidya talks abt pay inequality in this vdo, how she was paid less for a movie (she did not name the movie) ... she was paid less than the male actor even though her role was much bigger and she gave more days to the film than the actor.

^^Don't know about Vidya's khoon, but my blood is boiling just by watching the video...What injustice...Shame on the industry which is not just discriminating but so openly stealing from the more deserving ones! 🤢👎🏼

Absolutely, equal pay for equal work. However, the entertainment industry has a whole different pay structure that none of us have insights to. We can debate start power, etc., we just don't know.

I think my list is mostly due to "star" power. You can argue Shraddha but she is inconsistent. You can blame it for not getting the same movie offers as Deepika and Alia but I think the biopic will tell a lot about Shraddha.

Vidya is the one I forgot about. She should get a raise.
