Review of Colors' Internet Wala Love: Love connected by Wi-Fi, a refreshing change

In today's fast-paced world, internet is the most important thing. A person is nothing without the internet, and social media too plays a very crucial role.

Today, with the increasing use of the internet, you can swipe your way into a relationship, because you're just a click away from love. And Colors' latest offering, Internet Wala Love, produced by Sphereorigins, brings viewers a vibrant and young new-age love story. The show is promising, as it offers us a glimpse into the tech-savvy life of today's youth.

All about the show:

Internet Wala Love, which is set in New Delhi, is the story of Jai (Shivin Narang), who works as an RJ at a popular radio station and belongs to the growing tribe of people whose lives need to be chronicled over the internet. According to him, anything and everything can happen on social media, be it online shopping, banking or love. Meanwhile, Aadhya is a self-disciplined girl, who doesn't believe in the concept of online dating or the perks of social media. She works with a wedding planning agency that is headed by Mahira (Minissha Lamba), a perfectionist, who likes things her way. This quirky and playful narrative explores what happens when the duo unintentionally crosses paths.

Good points:

At first, when we heard about the story, we thought it was just a usual one. But we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the show had its own originality. There are enough differences in the traits of the main characters to make the show rather refreshing. The unique introduction of the characters by Jay, aka Shivin Narang, in rap style, was something different and related well to the core theme of the series. Both the leads have equal screen space and their characters are very well explained in the first episode. There is an intriguing sub-plot as well, because the first episode reveals that Aadhya is scared about her bad past; this drama will keep audiences glued. The production value and the sets used in the show are quite relatable.

Bad points:

In today's time, it is hard to find a girl like Aadhya, who finds internet very invasive. Also, Tunisha Sharma, compared to Shivin, looks too young. The pairing is new but unusual.

Thumbs up:

Internet Wala Love has started off on a high note. Overall, it is a decent watch and will most likely grow on you as the story would proceed. We hope that the show manages to capture the essence of romance between its characters in the near future.

IWMBuzz.com credits the show 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Yes I too don't agree on that point. They make a cute pair.
