"You are right! We need to talk. She needs to know that she have me beside her, she don't need to feel alone. It will take me sometime to make things like before but I don't hold her responsible for anything. Yes, I am disappointed with her lack of trust in me but I am not against her. I just need sometime to set things. Arnav murmured looking lost and when he looked back at mirror there was no one. He looked around once more and sighed "Things needs to settle down soon before it does more damage and he will start working on them soon.

Next morning when Khushi woke up she found Arnav all ready in his three piece suit and tying his tie now standing in front of mirror. She looks at the clock and gasped looking at the time 9 am, she instantly sat up straight and was going to step out of the bed when his stern voice made her stop.

"Don't you dare put your foot down. Arnav walked closer while saying it, looking at her sternly, his eyes daring her to say a word against it and Khushi gulped.

"I am late Arnav ji Sorry, I'll first prepare breakfast for you then I'll take my shower. Just give me few minutes. She again tried to get up when his hold on her arm stopped her "Didn't you hear I said not to put your foot down.

Her eyes instantly filled with tears not understanding why he is saying that "Now you won't even let me do anything for you? Arnav looked at her in surprise, he just want to hug her at this moment and tell her she is taking it wrong but he can't though he have decided to solve the issues between them but still he needs time but he will start with few things for sure. Her condition last night have scared him already to maintain his aloofness from her is no more an option but he can't go back to normal in a blink. So he settled beside her on the bed, now taking her palm between his large palm and looked straight at the poolside.

"I didn't mean that you know? I just told you that because you're weak, last night your condition wasn't good. Please take rest Khushi, don't think too much for now. I understand whatever happening and the way I am behaving must be hurting you but please understand that after whatever happened I just can't act so normal like nothing happened just like that. Khushi looks up at him with teary eyes and he gulped feeling her gaze but still looking ahead "Can we please take it slow? I am not angry with you anymore but my mind is really messed up right now and I seriously don't want to do and say something in this situation which I regret later.

After saying what he wanted to say he slowly turns to look at her, his eyes pleading her to understand his situation. She whimpered but nodded through her teary eyes and before he can say another world she hugged him like her life depends on it, sobbing in the crook of his neck. After so many day they have talked without any accusations and anger between them and it's enough for her, she'll wait as long as it takes. Slowly Arnav's hand made his way to her back and he encircled his arms around her which tightened on their own accord and he buried his face in the crook of her neck.

After making sure that she had her breakfast and having his with her Arnav left for office ordering Khushi to not take a step even if it's not really necessary.

Khushi smiled thinking about her conversation with Arnav, finally he let out at least few of his feelings. He have asked for sometime and she is ready to wait as long as it takes, after long time he have talked with her, shown his earlier concern and care and this is enough to give her hope that things will come around soon. Her smile fades away as she thinks about Anjali, though her words have hurt her badly but somewhere because of her hiding the truth have created this distance between the inseparable siblings. Arnav ji is hurt and Anjali must be also feeling lonely.

Just the thought of Anjali made her scared. She is alone with that Shyam and it's dangerous. He have tries to hurt Anjali in past also and now h have all the chances what if he does something with Anjali Di? Arnav ji won't be able to take it. She have to do something. she instantly looks for her phone and dialed the number of detective.

Khushi steps down from the car looking around and holding a paper she was asking for the address when her eyes fell on someone she have come here looking for. She walks slowly towards the person taking unsure steps and keeps her hand on her shoulder, the person turns around and froze.

"You?

Khushi: Di! "Yes the person is none other than Anjali.
Anjali (looking away): What are you doing here now?
Khushi: Di! Please listen to me, I am sorry for what happened but I really need to talk with you. Please Di!
Anjali: "But I don't want to hear anything from you. and she turns back towards the vegetable stall, picking up the veggies and paying him for it she started walking away making Khushi to follow her.

"Di please! I know you are angry with me but Di please trust me, I never wished wrong for you. Shyam ji is lying Di, I know I should have told about him earlier but I was scared that you'll be hurt and so Arnav ji but I never knew I am doing biggest mistake of my life by giving him chance. I really thought after hearing about his upcoming baby he'll change his ways but I never knew he'll turn more disgusting and... Khushi was interrupted by Anjali who turned towards her furiously.

"Enough of your drama, I don't want to hear anything. You have snatched my family from me, my brother who was just like my baby Anjali stuttered as she wiped her tears and looked at Khushi in disgust "Whatever you wanted is happening, you have my brother and his fame all for yourself, now at least let me live in peace with my husband also.

"I just want your happiness Di but trust me you are putting yourself and your baby in danger by trusting and living with a man like Shyam ji. Khushi pleaded but Anjali turned her back to her ignoring her words telling her to stop lying.

Khushi holds her hand to stop her as she tried once more "Di just give me one chance, that day I didn't have proofs but now I have. Just give me a chance and I'll prove that whatever I am saying is truth and Shyam ji is lying.

"Enough Khushi ji! I don't need your false proofs to know about my Shyam ji. Just get lost!! saying this she pushed Khushi with force walking away hurriedly whereas Khushi fell back with the push and hit her head to one of the stalls. People starts to gather around her and Driver who was looking at her from far runs to the spot and with the help of people gathered take her back to car who was loosing her conscious.

As the car entered in the gates of RM before driver can even park it another car make it's entry in furious speed and out came Arnav running towards driver "What happened? Where is Khushi? Yes Driver has instantly called Arnav to inform that Khushi Bhabhi got hurt before driving back to home. "Inside the car driver replied while stammering and Arnav opens the back door of car to see an unconscious Khushi and scar shining on the side of her forehead.

"Khushiii

He picked her in his arms carrying her inside with a scared driver following him behind, hearing him shouting all members at home comes out from their rooms and Payal instantly calls Doctor hearing Arnav shouting to call one.

After sometime, Arnav looks at unconscious Khushi after Doctor and family left their room as Driver told him what he saw and little bit of what he could hear. His blood boiled just thinking about it, he have asked her to be on bed and take rest still she have to go out and plead to Di. What was the need to go and meet her, what was the need to try and make her understand if she is not willing to look above her husband? And Di? How can she push Khushi like this and walk away?

He asks driver to leave the room and walks towards Khushi, caressing the bandage on her head , he waits for her to open her eyes. She really needs to answer him today, why can't she for once do as he ask? He was lost in his thoughts when his phone went off and he instantly receives it looking at caller ID.

When Khushi opened her eyes after sometime she found Arnav sitting beside her, caressing her head but his eyes had faraway look, seems like he is busy in thinking deeply about something. She gulped in fear as she remembers earlier events, knowing very well that by now Arnav must have got to know that she have gone out in his absence even when he have strictly asked her to rest and more worse to meet Anjali she felt scared of his reaction.

Feeling moments beneath his hand Arnav looks down coming out of his thoughts and see her squirming with nervous expressions on her face. He felt relief rushing through his veins looking at her awake and fine and next moment he was hugging her taking her by surprise. " You scared me He murmurs hugging her to his dear life and Khushi felt guilt for doing this to him again.

"I am sorry Arnav ji! I just thought that everyone is sad because of me, I should at least try to talk with Di and try to explain everything then may be she understands... She was abruptly stopped as Arnav pulled out from the hug and anger replacing earlier fear and concern in his eyes. "Who asked you to do so? Didn't I left you here to rest? Didn't I tell you to stay inside this room and rest? Didn't we talk about this in morning that we'll work through it slowly? Didn't I say I just need sometime to make things right? Then why the hell you have to go behind my back and do things against me? Arnav spats angrily making Khushi shiver.

Khushi sobs, scared of his anger "I just thought if somehow I can convince Di to comeback then things will be more better. I know, though you don't show in your anger but I know how much you miss Di, how much you miss having her around you. I know how important she is for you, I just wanted to bridge the gap between you two, you both love each other so much and I didn't want myself to be the reason of this gap between brother and sister.

She hiccuped at the end telling him reason behind her action and Arnav felt bad for her, sitting beside her again he cupped her cheeks "I understand your intentions wasn't wrong but we all know how blind Di have turned in that bast**d's love. Our no try will make her see the truth if she is herself hell bent on ignoring all the signs. Khushi looked at him as she replied "But we can't sit back either, Arnav ji, Di is living in really bad area, she don't have habit of it, she is used to live in with all the facilities at her feet. Today she was buying vegetable and other groceries herself in scorching heat of summer, how can we see that? Arnav looks away hearing her words but speaks in low voice " May be that's my biggest mistake. Trying to shield her from every bad, I made her so dependent and far from harsh realities of life that she got habitat of her dream world where everything was perfect. But now she needs this push, she needs to see that turning blind eye won't make everything alright, she can't hide every time, she needs to face the reality.

Khushi looks at him wide eyed "You mean you will let her stay here in that bad condition, you'll let her stay with that dangerous man and wait for her to realize truth herself? Arnav ji, we know how dangerous Shyam can be, we can't leave Di with him alone for long, he can hurt her. No Arnav ji you can't do this, we need to make sure that Di is safe, we can't she was stopped by Arnav's loud voice.

"Stop it! What do you think I don't care about my sister? I know where she is and with whom. I know what I have to do to keep her safe, I may not be going behind her to beg her for coming back but I have made sure Shyam couldn't hurt her. She is surrounded by guards all the time, she or Shyam both don't know that they are under the eyes of my guards who are surrounding them like common peoples. If Shyam dared to hurt my sister he won't be able to see the next morning of his life.

Khushi looked at him in shock, how can she be so stupid to think that Arnav will leave Anjali alone without any care and security especially now when he is aware about the real face of Shyam. "Khushi, I am really thankful that even after what happened and how Di treated you, you still care about her but we need to wait. Next time when we approach Di it should be with all the proofs that even if she wants she won't be able to deny the truth but before that she needs to experience Shaym's real face herself. We all know Shyam was with Di for her money now that she have left everything to stay with him I am sure that bast**d will sure make some mistake or show his true colors soon. We just need to wait for right time to unmask him. Arnav explained her taking her hand in his.

Khushi looks at him and squeezed his palm beneath her with a smile "I am sorry, I am so stupid how can I even think you'll leave Di without any security. But Arnav ji, I have enough proofs now, the private detective I have hired to collect proofs against Shyam have told me that now he have enough proofs to send Shyam behind the bars.

Arnav looked at her in shock and pulled his hands away from her "You have hired detective? Khushi nodded slowly and lowered her eyes "I am sorry but I made sure our families name shouldn't come out in any way. He is father of one of my batch mate, her father is really good person and he have done everything very discreetly and personally understanding the situation Arnav let out a frustrated sigh as getting up he ran his hand through his hairs before looking down at her "It's not about family name you stupid woman, Sometimes think about the consequences of you do.

Khushi looked at him confused "But I took this step after thinking so much, Arnav ji. I thought when I'll tell truth I should be having all the proofs. What if no one trusts me and Jiji (sister) also agreed on that? After all Shyam is considered as very good man here and for DI no less than God. Arnav looked at her fallen face and sat down beside her again "I know and I understand your fear but do you understand you haven't told me or anyone else about it except Payal. What if Shyam would have got even the slightest idea about it? You could have landed in danger yourself.

Khushi looked at him as tears flowed from her eyes " That time I was just thinking about how will I prove my innocence and unveil Shyam's true face. Arnav sighed "Ok now don't cry. Where are those proofs?

Khushi: With Uncle! We are going to meet tomorrow and he'll hand over those proofs to me.
Arnav: No! You have done enough, now leave it on me. I'll go and meet him myself, you pass me his contact details.
Khushi: But I..
Arnav: And no more arguments now.
Khushi: Ok but after that we can go and bring Di back with us right?

Arnav sighed looking away before he cupped her cheek "I am glad that after all this you still care about her but I am not sure. I'll look at the proofs tomorrow and then plan what I have do next but till then you aren't going to try anything new and contact Di. Khushi looked at him confused and exasperated she almost shouted "But Why? I know you are taking care about her security but we can't let her stay there in this condition. For god sake she is Pregnant.

" AND SO YOU ARE!!!!!!

Arnav shouted back himself frustrated with her stupidity, there is limit of being selfless and right now he can't let her act more stupid.

"What? Khushi whispered.

Arnav calmed down looking at her expressions and speaks in low voice "Yes, before you woke up, I received call from doctor You are Pregnant'.
