A Star is Born is the remake of a 1976 American musical by the same name starring Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand. The same concept has been used in several other films. So technically even Aashique 2 is not original but then again its Bhatts so its hardly surprising 😆

I haven't seen the movie but I suppose this is a sorta remake of the 1954 original with the same name.

I guess her little monsters have moved on. probably she's producing the movie. Gaga is ghastly to look at.

A Star Is Born was first a Hollywood movie from a long time ago, 1937. There has been several remakes of it through the years by Hollywood, but I've also seen Bollywood unofficial remakes of it as well.
As for this 2018 movie, I will not see it. I never liked Lady Gaga, even when she was popular a couple of years ago, she tries so hard to make herself seem unique and revolutionary but really her whole identity is based on copying famous American and British singers and artists of the past. Also has always come off as way too narcissistic for me.

Star is born has been made four times, first one 1937 (That's the version I've seen)

Then Abhimaan in BW (ending different) before this Ashique

Did all the movies have similar type of scenes ? I mean yeah the concept is same but scenes in trailer are too similar to Aashiqui 2. Was it the case with all the previous remakes ?
