John Abraham's next project Batla House is said to have a release date finally. The thriller, based on the 2008 L-18 Batla House encounter case, will be releasing on August 15, 2019. The film, which will see Abraham essaying the role of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, the senior policeman who led the investigation, will clash with Ayan Mukerji's fantasy film Brahmastra starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. And, interestingly, after the success of his last film, Stree, producer Dinesh Vijan has also announced his next production venture, Made In China starring Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy, to hit cinemas on Independence Day 2019.
Batla House will be directed by Nikkhil Advani and produced by T-Series, Emmay Entertainment, Motion Pictures LLP and JA Entertainment in association with Bake My Cake Films
Now 3 releases for that day with Brahmastra, Made in China and now this. I think Karan will move Brahmastra. Maybe try to release it earlier.
