I don't even know what is happening in YUD these days...after those two episodes of Sharad-Naina rishta tootna and Samaina Patch-up, I'm again on a long sabbatical from the show...not even following LU...can anyone give me a short summary after that...please...so that I can decide how long should I continue this sabbatical...😆

There are like 4 festivals that I absolutely love to celebrate - Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussera Diwali and our New year Ugadi!!!. we do batukamma during the dussera navratri days, its a telangana special celebration, which is so so fun back home. Here in cali, we do have get-togethers to celebrate batukamma over a weekend...it like a whole day picnic, games, but the most important is the following thing we do with flowers...its called batukamma(literally means live mother)...its the celebration of goddess gowri for coming alive...celebrating, 9 avatars of durga during the navratri...so looking forward for this years' celebration😃

Thank you for sharing the details!! The decoration is so pretty. We used to make flower rangoli for Onam in grad school as my roommate was a Keralite and call the entire department for feast :)

I remember this celebration in our temple last year, now it makes sense!😊

Thank you Zulu and Nivi!! I live in North Caroline so in the storm's eye. Same for Rose though she doesn't live in NC. But luckily we shifted out of the direct impact area yesterday due to storm moving more south. Winds are strong and rain coming down heavy right now, so on flood and hurricane watch till today evening.

Praying for the power to survive, otherwise there is little you can do😆

I remember last year when Florida was hit badly, my sister and family stayed in New Orleans for few days.

We are just so helpless in front of nature.

Zulu, there is nothing much to even say what is going on.

I watch maybe one episode in 2 weeks and pretty much get what is happening.

Naina is contesting for some post in the College Students board (President? Not sure)

So is Sunaina who by the way is the new villain.

That's it. Rest is around what these two and their friends are doing to make them win

Swati is the new vamp as she has joined hands with Sunaina secretly. 😆

Even writing the summary is making me roll my eyes.

Nivi initally both Neha and I were in the path of the hurricane. But now the storm has shifted . So we will get remnants only in Virginia. There will be some rain but may be not so much like the Carolinas.
