Dear both Aditya and Zoya has trust issues. Aditya couldnt trust Zoya enough to say no to Arshad. If he had just given her those two weeks she would have said goodbye to Arshad herself. Zoya crossed the threshold of her house for Yash, which turned out to be illusion. Once again she crossed the threshold in fri episode again it was an illusion. So in a way history is repeating for both of them. Reason Yash and Pooja are still in the equation.

Zoya to a great extend has removed Yash and had started giving the same amount of trust to Adi, though as a friend. But Aditya had not yet accepted Zoya as his friend. Pooja exists in the equation for him as a friend. He has to remove her, then other things will fall in place.
