Broken!! Mauli FF

She takes small steps towards the door.. She needs to open it.. She needs to assure her family and herself that she is still alive.. She needs to know whether her heart is still beating..

She finds her whole family outside the door.. She can't see their pitying faces.. She wants to close her eyes so badly.. Why isn't there something to numb her pain!! She notices an unknown smiling face.. Does he know her story?? Is he also thinking how her husband played her?? The stranger's smiling face was still on her mind when her legs gave away and she blacked out..

P.S- Was thinking of writing this for a long time, but today's episode gave the final boost.. 😭

She woke up in her own bed.. The same bed which had become her hiding place for days.. It knew all the hurt and fears she processed.. The pillows had sucked all her tears.. And now only a broken being was left..

There was the smiling stranger.. He said she is weak and needs to concentrate on her diet..He had checked her?? How could her family let him touch her?? She felt filthy everytime someone came near her.. She feared they will know her scars and pity her.. The stranger was speaking to mamma but she didnt hear him, she was too absorbed in her black thoughts..

Mamma came near her and explained he was son of her friend and she had forwarded her resume to his father.. She remembered she had been on a sick leave since the fateful day.. She still couldn't bring herself to face her friends and colleagues.. She wasn't ready to accept their pitying looks yet.. Mamma was still speaking.. She explained her how he and his father were doctors and had a big hospital in Pune.. Mamma wanted her to shift there for sometime and felt a change in place will help her rise again.. But Pune?? She laughed.. Isn't it the same place where Kunal lied to go for a conference and went to Nandini's house instead.. Everything, every place, every moment reminded her of them and their betrayal.. She wanted to forget everything but the memories kept revisiting her..

Mamma was requesting her to go.. Her father and mother were also explaining how it was for her best.. Her brother and bhabi were going to stay there with her for few days till she was settled.. They had thought of everything.. They were doing so much to help her.. She must do this.. She can't fall week.. She has to forget her broken past for sometime and move on for these people who badly needed her to rise.. She can't fail them.. She will go.. She will build her career.. She can't stay forever holding onto the past.. She will win, this time against her broken self..
