TS: Two Years Later!
Love! One emotion that just can't be explained enough. Once in his lifetime he knew what was love. He has been in love for 6 years with a women! Mauli! His first love! His ex wife. His life was so perfect. Mauli was a wife which any man dreams of. She is brave, independent, caring, loving, naive and straightforward. No one who had a women like Mauli would want any other person in his life. But he , Kunal Malhotra despite of being in love with his wife fell for his wife's friend, Nandini. He never knew how he fell for her. Even more how can he just be blind for her ignoring Mauli. He shamelessly crossed every limits for Nandini. Worst part is he never realised it was necessary that Mauli deserved to know truth. When she found out his relationship with Nandini during Ganapati visharjan ceremony she was shattered. Two people whom she loved and trusted the most had betrayed her. She just ran away in tears. He followed her. He wanted to console her. But couldn't as he himself didn't know how, as he had no justification himself. When he called her name she just slapped him and yelled at him not to utter her name from his filthy mouth here after. She threw a key on his face and informed that this was his clinic keys for which she was doing two jobs. He felt ashamed. His wife had not only supported his dreams worked hard sacrificing her happiness to make it true. And she did made it true. Being a women with self respect she asked him not to meet her hereafter. She also informed that her lawyer will sent her divorce papers. He felt bad for hurting her but didn't feel he was wrong as he was in love with Nandini. She was about to leave his house but his mother and Deeda stopped her. They choose mauli over him and asked him never to come back into there lives. Mauli broke all the relationship with him and Nandini on that day.
He was never happy after that. He went back to nandini's house. Nandini's husband, Rajdeep created too much trouble for them. He publicly teased them for having an extra marital affair and the resident association where Nandini stayed complained to police and they were arrested for adulatory.
Through Joint petition he and mauli got legally separated. Though he was successful in sending Rajdeep to jail for domestic violence he refused to divorce Nandini. Even with her relationship with Kunal, Rajdeep wanted Nandini as his wife. Finally they had to approach court for a divorce. Purposely Rajdeep kept postponing the case. Either he will be unable to appear in court as he is sick or at times his lawyer will apply for leave. By that time Nandini became pregnant. They had to face the humiliation from society as they were not married. Everyone kept taunting them. Kunal was struggling between his new clinic and taking care of a pregnant Nandini. Her pregnancy had complications as her body was weak because of the physically abuse she faced during her previous pregnancy. Doctors had advised her complete bed rest. He was finding it difficult as no one was there to help them.
Biggest blow he received was when Nandini was emergency admitted for her delivery she had complications. Her gynaecologist had called up mauli for help as she is the most famous gynaecologist in Mumbai. He didn't had the guts to look at her face. That was the first time he felt guilty for cheating mauli. Mauli like a professional gynaecologist attended Nandini, she saved both nandini and there son. He felt guilty and ashamed when she informed that Nandini had delivered a son. He remembered how mauli wanted a kid. She dreamed of there kid so badly. But he was so much into Nandini at that time. That was the last time he saw her.
After some days, finally Nandini's divorce case in court ended. She was granted a divorce. After that he married Nandini. When time started passing slowly he recognised how wrong he was. He was never in love with Nandini. It was just an attraction and sympathy towards her which he misunderstood as love. He missed Mauli so badly. The times they used spent together. There night talks after a hectic day with a cup of coffee, there Saturday outing, Sunday family get together. He realised how well mauli had completed him. How well she had made his life so perfect. He lead a contented life with her. But he was a fool to not realise it and threw away his beautiful life with her. Two years had passed. Staying away from her. He craved for her love, affection, forgiveness. But he know he will not get it because of his own mistake. He have his dream clinic, Nandini, his wife, whom he thought he loved and fought with everyone to be with her and a kid. But he was unhappy. Incomplete. He feel like leading a suffocating life with Nandini. They don't share a bedroom anymore. He never spent time with her. They are like two strangers living under a roof.
Few days back accidentally he met Mayank, Mauli's younger brother in a mall. He taunted Kunal that Mauli had finally moved on as she decided to marry someone else. The news of Mauli's marriage disturbed him. He doesn't want to believe that mauli is totally over him. He felt jealous. Then his consciousness spoke to him what would have she felt after seeing him with her best friend? After struggling a lot he decided to meet mauli.
In hospital!
Kunal purposefully choose her hospital as he knew he won't be able to speak with her anywhere else.
Mauli was surprised when the receptionist informed her that someone wanted to meet her regrading a personal issue. She was stunt to see Kunal. Last time when she saw him was when she had to attend Nandini's delivery. It was more than an year back. She wondered why he wanted to meet her now? Anything related to his clinic? But she had sent all the necessity documents of his clinic through her lawyer along with her divorce papers.
Mauli: May I know why Dr. Kunal Malhotra you are in my hospital cabin? Any professional emergencies?
Kunal was stunt.
Kunal: no Mauli. I wanted to talk.
Mauli: I am sorry Dr. Kunal Malhotra I am not interested in any kind of personal talks with you. You may please leave my cabin.
Kunal: please mauli I beg of you. Just 5 minutes. Please.
Mauli: ok just 5 minuets.
Kunal: mauli I know I wronged you. When I fell for Nandini I must spoke with you rather than betraying you. Mauli trust me I am genuinely sorry for what I have done to you.
Mauli (angrily): sorry! You are sorry Kunal? You really think I will be able to forgive you with your sorry? Dr. Kunal Malhotra just get it clear on your head. I don't need your sorry. Nor I am interested in seeing you. Please just leave.
Kunal: mauli please I understood I was wrong. I realised that I was never in love with Nandini. It was just an attraction. It was my foolishness that I misunderstood it was love. For the past two years I recognised that it was you who completed me. It was with you I am contented with. I am sorry mauli for everything and really I love you.
Mauli: you know what Kunal. You are disgusting. You are just pathetic. You loathe me to core. When I was in your life you wanted Nandini and now when Nandini is there you claim me that you love me. I hate to admit that I am your ex wife. Just get out of my life. Never ever show your disgusting face to me.
Mauli was shivering with anger. Fresh tears formed in kunal's eyes. He walked out of her cabin. He understood that he had lost her forever.
