So we are here. The wedding week is about to commence after all.
The first scene itself foreshadows Zoya's condition in the coming week. Waseem calls Arshad a diamond, her choice is approved by her father this time but yet her smile is incomplete. Her eyes are looking down, avoiding her father's gaze. He misunderstands it to be her shyness but Zoya has a hard time lying to herself and she's afraid her eyes will speak for herself. Which why she flees into her room where no one is there and she can openly let her emotions out through her tears.
We can run from the world but not from our own thoughts. They don't stop at our own wish. She is scared, it is quite well reflected on her face, her thoughts only recall aditya's word about arshad. She terrified that she is making the same mistake again. Roshna repeats aditya's words about the bangle. Don't force it if doesn't fit. Zoya's stubborn ego clashes here. Her expression changes into determination, she has taken a decision and she will stick by it even if it damages her in the process.
I had mentioned in one of my previous posts, Zoya deserves bepannah love and trust which she gave to Yash. This is universe's way of giving it back to her but she is too admant to accept it. She feels she won't survive another bepannah love.
It's funny how moment before inside her room Zoya was a broken girl shedding tears because of her lost state. But the moment Aditya's text arrives on her phone, something wakes up inside her. The fight inside her draws her into Hooda house similar to the day she had gone charging after the court case.
Aditya tells he won't let her walk into a loveless marriage again because this time it won't just break her it will finish her. She will hate herself later for marrying Arshad because it will kill her that she is unable to return the love Arshad showers on her. Unless you love yourself you cannot love the other. And that is not possible with Arshad.
He says 'you deserve love'. Before this she was irritated angry but the moment he tell this line she stops. She stops struggling and just stares at him. I don't know why it felt like she was asking him, do I really deserve it? But before he can read her she breaks their contact in hurry.
I Loved the line pyar main zor hai zabardasti nahi! This shows he is ready to let go if it comes to that. He won't actually drag her physically out of this marriage. Like he told arjun, I will go attend the wedding watch her say qubool hai and come back. Nowhere is he saying that I will stop this wedding anyhow. He is just saying that I will wait till the last breath. I loved how zoya outside hooda mansion realized how haste her decision was. Her denial and stuborness has caused her to be a different person, she would never hurt anyone on purpose and that's what she is doing now.
I think both Zoya and Adi are being two stubborn idiots. If zoya knows what she is doing is wrong but still sticking to her stubborness then Adi also is sticking to his decision. Why should I back off? Neither of them will realize their mistake until one of them waves the flag and steps down.
Zoya's line aapko bahat shauk hai na hamare pass rehna ka, is quite significant I feel. Anjana might do something which will prevent Aditya from reaching her wedding. Zoya doesn't realize but having Adi at the wedding might still be possible to get married but not having will be impossible. There is a reason why they are showing Adi this persuasive. When he doesn't show up at the wedding Zoya will go mad.
Precap- I have mixed feelings so going to wait out for the episode then talk about it in detail.
