She wants to protect Ansh by marrying him to a Daivik, but is hypnotized by Ruby and Mohana that Ruby is the Daivik. But the original Daivik is Piya. She is raised by Guruma with whom Divya, her mother and Vedashree''s friend left her. Divya had captured Mohanaand Vedashree doesn't know that Piya is Divya's daughter and is the protector she is searching for.
