I would like to say I absolutely loved this weekend episodes. It was very entertaining and suspenseful. Prince Narula as the snake charmer did a great job. I hope they don't kill his character but he comes back in the future in an extended cameo. That's how much of an impression he left on me. Indeed the show is not perfect and has flaws but it's episodes like these that make it entertaining and want you to tune in more.
Regarding Bela power; I see some people on twitter commenting she is naagrani and should have been powerful enough to stop Shaan. It seems that some people find something to complain about regarding Bela character such as how she behaves with Mahir, her powers etc. Here is my input. Bela mother died under mysterious circumstances and the throne was thrusted upon her. From since the beginning episodes I suspected Bela is naive and also very innocent. She is humane and sympathize with humans. She has powers but probably didn't use them much when her mom was alive. And now she has all these enemies coming for her without no one to turn to and trust except Vish. From what I'm seeing Bela is on her way to becoming a powerful naagraani. It's all about character development. Her behavior with Mahir is understandable. Even though he is her soulmate; she loved Vikrant for 100 years. Also she is a naagin and Mahir is human. I believe she can't consummate with him otherwise she lose her powers. So I have a feeling she is trying to not encourage him despite not helping herself.
Also it good that they show Bela not being that powerful like a God despite she is the naag queen. If Bela just killed her enemies with the snap of her fingers it gets boring. It's good to know her character has flaws. When you think of superman he is like a god who cannot be defeated which is why so many people have problems with his character cause he always win. So I'm fine with Bela power having flaws.
Also happy to see Bela and Vish together again. Their friendship is one of the highlights of the show. I honestly holding out hope they won't destroy the relationship because they said they won't copy the previous seasons.
Finally I would like to say this about Anu. I think the actress playing her is decent. I know people find her annoying but that's how her character is suppose to be. She is a spoiled rich brat but if writers do this well; her, Bela and Vish can form a friendship and become friends in future. Which is why I loved when Bela saved anu and cared for her because it showed that Bela is kind and fair as a queen should be. Anu didn't kill Vikrant and was innocent in this.
Any way I believe this season can be as good as season one. Can't wait for these weekend episodes can't believe we have to wait a week.
