"Geet, where are my things ...I'm getting late, Maan yelled for his wife the umpteenth time. "Maan, if you try to look a little more closely you will find everything that you are looking for, Geet smiled opening the cupboard and handing him his things.
"You are right but you know I can't do anything without you, He smiled.
"Alright then, you should be going now, She said. "What about your project, He asked. "I'm just giving it the final touches, She smiled. "I hope you are taking rest in between that, He asked. "I am now go ...this project will be the best for the future diagnostics and it will help Khurana Tech be the best in the world, Geet said. "Geet, you are the most important person for me. Dadima and I are worried as you are taking too much load upon yourself, He said. "I'm fine Maan, you just be ready for my Utopia to unveil,She said.
Maan attended his meetings and was back in his cabin when his secretary came rushing in.Sir...Geet Maam ...she ...she is not responding, She cried. "What happened tell me clearly, He said. "Sir Geet Maam finished her project but she decided to try it for herself and then ...she got unconscious, She said. Maan rushed to meet her. When he entered he found Sahil there.
"Geet, Geet ...what happened to her, He asked. "She just fainted...I don't know, He said. "We must call an ambulance now, Maan said worried. "Maan ...I think Geet is trapped, Sahil said. "Trapped where..., Maan asked.

"In her own mind ...in Utopia,Sahil said. "Utopia...you mean this machine of hers ...but how, He said not understanding. "Make her lie down on that couch...and just look at the screen, Sahil said. He put the equipment on her forehead and Maan looked on to find a baby Geet there. "What is happening ...she is a child there, He said. "This is the mind of Geet you are seeing .., He told. "How will my Geet come out of there, He asked. "There is a way but..., Sahil wasn't sure about that. "What is it...I will do anything to bring her back, Maan said. "You have to go to her ...by using Utopia but Maan it is dangerous and your life could be at risk ..., He said. "I will do it, Maan consented.
Present
"What ...what do you mean by that, Geet said. "Geet you are living in a world created by your mind ...this is not real..., He said. "I know you are trying to fool me, She said not believing him. "He is telling the truth Geet...you are living in an artificial world...if you don't believe us try to think of something which can not be possible, Sahil said. Geet looked at them and then thought to change the color of the room to something bright as it always looked dull to her. She opened her eyes and saw the otherwise black and white room filled with colors. "Where am I, She asked. "Geet..this is Utopia, a world created by your machine which works on human thoughts. You invented it to cure some human psychological issues and coma patients so while in their vegetative state their mind is still active and so that you can cure them, Maan explained. "But then...how am I here, She asked. "You wanted to test it for yourself but it went wrong and something pulled you in here, Maan said.
"I'm not getting anything, She said. "Geet, you have to recall who you are and why you are here, Maan said. She tried but nothing came to her mind. "I don't remember, She said. "Then we must find the reason ourselves, Sahil said. "How... Sahil, we have searching for days but nothing, Maan said frustrated not able to save his love. "Relax, Maan let us go to my house and think on this matter carefully, He advised. They went to his house. His house made Geet a little dizzy, "I think I have been here. "Geet this is the first time we are visiting his house, Maan said. "No...I'm sure I came here ...and...ah, She tried to recall but her head hurt.
"Geet,don't strain yourself dear, Maan was worried. "Hey, you two why are you still standing there come on in, Sahil called. Geet was wary going in that house, it was like something told her something was not right like something was amiss. Maan noticed her being uncomfortable but held her tight assuring her that he was with her.
They entered Sahil's house. It was a huge mansion but there was an eerie silence all around. Maan deducted it could be as Sahil has been alone all his life as his parents died early. "Geet do you recall any of your past with Maan now, He asked sipping his tea. "Some faint images that is all, She said. "I remember being married to him but after that its blurry, She said. "Don't worry Geet we can make new memories after we get out of here, Maan said. She nodded taking her cup but it slipped from her hands. "I'm sorry, She said. "It is alright, Sahil said. "Can I use the washroom, She asked. "Yes it is down the hall to the right, Sahil said. Geet walked in the said direction. After she cleaned up, when she was returning she heard some sounds coming from a locked room. She was heading in that direction but Maan came looking for her. "Are you alright, He asked. "Yes...Maan, I heard some noises like something that of chains, She said. "Geet, you need rest. May be it is because it is the first time you are visiting a new place, He dismissed. "Maan...I'm sure of it, She said.
Before he could refute this time even he heard that sound. "I think it could be a thief..we should inform Sahil, Maan said. "Maan..I think we should check, Geet insisted. He nodded and decided to take a look with her. They went near the room from where the sound was coming and decided to open it. It was dark and the stairs led to the basement. As they walked in closer the sounds were more clear now. Faint sounds of help me echoed now. They were now in the basement and saw a closed door there. Maan tried to open it and after trying a little hard it opened but they were shocked to see the person in there. "Oh it seems you two unlocked the secret, They heard Sahil. "Who are you, Maan asked. "It seems you don't recognize your friend anymore, He smirked. "You are not his friend ...he is, Geet said pointing to the man they discovered. "Geet...Maan he is this world ...he is Utopia, The real Sahil said meekly shocking them.
