Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2: After playing Anurag, Hiten Tejwani to play Mr

Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 is all set to premiere
on September 25. The latest promo
where Shah Rukh Khan introduces the new-
age Prerna (Erica Fernandes) and Anurag
(Parth Samthaan) has gone viral and has
created a lot of buzz.
However, it is still not sure who will get into
the shoes of Ronit Roy as Mr Bajaj. Earlier
there were report that telly hottie Barun
Sobti is playing the role but the latest
reports suggest that Hiten Tejwani has been
approached for the show.
While talking to India Today Online, the actor
rubbishes the rumours. He said, "Nothing as
of now. I don't have any clue from where
the rumours of me playing Mr Bajaj started.
It's created a huge buzz. Everybody is calling
and everybody is asking me and I am telling
whatever is the truth. The truth is that I have
not been approached."
Hiten replaced Cezanne Khan as Anurag is
the original series in 2007. When asked if he
would like to reprise the role of Anurag or
Mr Bajaj if given a chance he said that being
a part of Kasauti was a great experience and
he is sure that there will be a huge
difference in the old and new Anurag. "I am
sure this Anurag is different from the
previous one and I mean different in a good
way. Mr Bajaj was an equally important and
a very good role, which was quite
appreciated by people. And, one of the best
roles to do. I am sure this year also Ekta
must have put in everything and developed
and etched out a wonderful character for Mr
Bajaj as well."
Hiten might not be seen in the reboot
version of Kasauti Zindagi Kay but he will
soon be seen in Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat
Season 3. The actor will also be seen in
Karan Johar's multi-starrer Kalank.

Replacing Cezzane was one of the worst decisions back then, which led to the show's end. And it seems like when Ekta has no actor to do her stale roles, she goes to hiten for replacing all her leads. But if Hiten plays Bajaj, then finally he is getting his due for his loyalty, otherwise I think Rajeev could be a great Bajaj, with all the anti heroic swag and looks Rajeev has, had as sujal and kabir, and ofcourse just for the fact that he would eat Parth alive onscreen and look super hot with Erica's pretty looks.
