First of all this show is so unique in its concept and I loved it so much
Jennifer is a very talent actress and portrays Zoya perfectly I just love watching her
But trying to understand Zoya's character
She is kind, honest and righteous girl.
But she is self-centered girl. She doesn't see anyone else but herself. No wander she lived with Yash five years without sensing his betrayal or his two years affair with Pooja.
In the first episode when she found the ring in Yash's clothes. She screamed out of excitement and Yash got hurt while shaving. She saw him and she didn't notice his cut or his blood on his face. She was so excited about the ring and didn't ask him what happened to him.
In her flashback about Yash financial problems. She understood that he tried to tell her he had problems but she never listened to him.
She lived with him five years and didn't try for once to reach out to his family. She never thought how hard for him to live in two places and to divide him between her and his mother and sister like she said before. He had to travel between Mumbai and Massory every week to be with his wife and his mother and sister.
She was just happy with her life and never thought about the others. Her father or Yash's family.
After that when she moved to Mumbai to save Yash company like she said. She used to call her younger sister and share with her any problem she had and her sister helped her many times. But when Noor had a problem with her father and he tried to force her into marriage Zoya never had a time to talk with her sister or ask her about how is she. Noor tried to tell her many times but Zoya was busy with her own problems and never had a time to listen to her sister.
Even when her sister came and live with her. They were both sisters living in a strange city. They had no one but each others. She never asked Noor about anything or her job. or tried to check on her new job. Noor used to stay all day job hunting and sometimes stay late at night and no one ask about her even her own sister Zoya who was busy with the company and Aditya Hooda.
When she chose Aditya as her best friend. and she went to any extent to bring him back to his family. She kept repeating my best friend mere azez dost. we hated the word from hearing it over and over and over from Zoya. But when her Azez dost was in pain. He acted strangely she couldn't understand him. She asked him once or twice and when he was ready to talk to her she was busy with her new forced rishta. He tried many times to tell her everything but all she was repeating was Arshad.
Everyone around her saw the love in Adi's eyes and his actions. but she never saw it. She never even sense it.
She stood in front everyone and said that no one knows Aditya more than her and no one knows her more than Aditya. But she didn't know the simple truth that he never considered her as his friend. that he never told her you are my friend like she was repeating the words. She couldn't see his pain and sense his jealousy every time she mention Arshad's name.
She said that she trust him completely. when he tried to tell her that he made the fake call she stopped him and told him she doesn't need any explanation from him. She knows him and trusts him.
But tonight when he admited that he made the call she slapped him and accused him that he intentionally exposed Arshad's life to danger. He tried to get Arshad killed intentionally.
Where is the trust she was talking about few hours back in the same day. How she defended him hearty against the world and in few hours she accused him with the same allegations.
Yes she is hurt because her Aziz dost gone away from her forever and she can't get him back again. But that doesn't mean to believe anything about him. That doesn't mean that she doesn't know him at all.
Zoya trusted Yash but she didn't trust Aditya. When she trusted Yash she stood for all the world and said that My Yash was innocent. when anyone tried to tell her the truth she remembered Yash's words and his love to her and said to the world you are a lair my Yash was innocent. She was wrong in her trust. But she really trusted him.
But Aditya she said that she trusts him completely and in few hours she accused him and repeated the same what the world said about him. in her first exam her trust failed. She doesn't trust him at all. She doesn't know him at all
Zoya indeed doesn't know how to judge others because she simply can't read others. Can't feel others. She need to understand and read the people around her. to judge them right and trust the right person.
She couldn't read Yash, Mahi, Noor, and now Aditya
