In the entire incident the incredible pair arshad and waseem has a big role...before adithya came these two had explained the entire scenario in such a way that adithya looked like a person who can go any extent to separate zoya and arshad...they made adi look like the third person and zoya was very much defending adithya infront of all and then when adi confessed she was shocked and what she kept saying to all was proved wrong...in the heat of the moment she just slapped him...it just happened exactly like how she had slapped him before also...one thing I am sure if adithya was confessing his love under different circumstances or even privately then she would never have slapped him...
Exactly. It was overwhelming emotions in that particular scene. I am pretty sure Zoya wouldn't have slapped him for confessing his feelings to her if circumstances were different.
She just got proved while defending him.
Also I think, Yash's fiasco somewhat made her to do that. I mean she couldn't lent out her anger on Yash when she finally saw that she was betrayed and everyone was right about it. On Adi she could do that & that's why the slap.
