I think the reason Zoya slapped Adi isn't because he confessed his love for her but because Zoya trusted him And defended him against Arshad's allegations, only to be proved wrong by the very same person.

I think that hurt came out as a moment of reflex filled with hurt, betrayal, anger as a slap on Adi's face.

This happens when you trust a person very much but they somehow end up proving you wrong for that trust. I think Zoya wouldn't have slapped Adi had she not come to know about that call this way after Arshad's revealation.

Zoya is in no mood to love and she is upset and angry that she would have to reject love of a person who she considered her best friend. There are times when the last thing you expect is your best friend to fall for you because high chances are that friendship will be ruined with it.

Zoya asking Arshad for marriage is probably because of this only because she thinks that it might make Adi get the closure she herself won't be able to provide. She is ready to enter a loveless marriage only to escape love of her best friend.

But Zoya should think of marriage. She didn't want to do it and this shouldn't be the reason for it. She can turn down Adi's proposal and still be single. What's wrong with that. I am sure Adi can give her that space.

And finally, Adi has done it and he realizes that he has hurt her immensely and all he wants is to take that pain away from her. I loved when he said thatvhe wouldn't let her go just because of that.

I hope so they show it in the show that she took the decision to marry Arshad due to Aditya's welfare and closure. Even if she is angry .. agreeing .. nope she actually asked Arshad herself to marry her wouldn't be justified without actual connect to Aditya's welfare.I am still confused why did she go and asked Arshad for marriage herself.. She doesn't love him and she can't as per her view. Still i can relate being emotional and heart broken can lead to such drastic steps as mind stops working. But man!! Arshad will marry her after going through all the rejections??KNowing fully she doesn't even see him in that light?? 😕 Where is common sense dude?? His expressions again were worse in the promo.

Completely agree with you. This is what i tld strday also tht she slapped him oly cuz her trust got broken nd the fact tht his love fr her has put someome's life in danger(though i feel tht his prank call is nt the reason fr their trap nd it ended up in good way)even if someone explains her tht prank call was not the rsn she is not ready to listen it. Such is her state of mind now.but surely she wil regret 4 slapping adi. I want her to regret it. Cuz even though slap looks crct frm her pov i felt tht it was lil bit over both 4 adi and arshad. What happened to adi's visit to arshad's hse?? I think either tmw or on thursday they will show tht.

I dont think Aditya broke her trust .. the guy was trying to explain , she dint listen as she was super furious ...

lets recall she too played a prank by calling him from paris .. that was wrong but her intention was not bad and was in a way understandable ...

similarly aditya clarified that he dint know that riots were going on and he would not do such a thing .. but she did not want to listen .. i get that .. the thing is she in shock ..

I m no way defending aditya for his actions .. frankly i m totally disappointed with his actions ...

i felt zoya in anger was quite harsh and no way aditya broke her trust , that prank is just blown out of proportion .. they were anyway going to be there only .. i agree with u the way everything came out made her more angry but still ...

the guy nearly died and rectified whatever happened during riots ..

Exactly!!!! I dont understand the thing how her trust can be broken without even listening to other party...

I dont wana to start again on her...the only thing to do to skip this week's episode and dil pe pathar rakhke successfully 2 episode skip kr bi diye

Okay, like I understand your point. The reason behind Zoya's slap being her immense trust on Adi breaking like that, so in the heat of the situation Zoya slapped him. But I am so pissed at her at the same time. You are not even being a good friend by listening to what the other person has to say! You just slapping? ME NO APPROVES!

I think I need to cool down first too. It was pretty disturbing. Getting physical like that means she needs Anger management classes. She should've kept her cool.

But she couldn't. And... I will try to understand that part too. I think I understand it but slapping is wrong. Too bad.

Adi never came to know about that. He came to India from Paris himself. He didn't have to defend Zoya like she had to defend Adi in front of everyone.

That's the difference between this & that. As for the call, Zoya got carried away by overwhelming emotions- of getting to know of the truth, Adi's feelings, guilt of fighting her father, having to defend Adi which proved she again turned blind to the situation & saying Arshad completely wrong when he was only partially wrong in his allegations.

Her mind is numb because she could never have imagined Adi falling for her. Zoya has closed all doors on love in her life. Adi came a breath of friendship & she just wanted to keep him that way. There was love in her friendship too. She was defending, standing, worried & caring for Adi just the way a way wife would but for her that all came in friendship.

Her deep trust in Adi's friendship hurts her to even acknowledge in that as love left her with nothing last time & that's what she is scared of. Adi has healed completely, Zoya hasn't. She just suppressed her emotions down & down & they have just influenced her whole psyche.

Again, that's what I feel, there might be something else to it.

I think Zoya herself doesn't realize why exactly she slapped him. She was sure while slapping Arshad but in Adi's case she is so bewildered to even see what made her slap him- anger, hurt, betrayal, guilt. Slap was a result of overwhelming emotions which tend to make a person not see things clearly.

In the entire incident the incredible pair arshad and waseem has a big role...before adithya came these two had explained the entire scenario in such a way that adithya looked like a person who can go any extent to separate zoya and arshad...they made adi look like the third person and zoya was very much defending adithya infront of all and then when adi confessed she was shocked and what she kept saying to all was proved wrong...in the heat of the moment she just slapped him...it just happened exactly like how she had slapped him before also...one thing I am sure if adithya was confessing his love under different circumstances or even privately then she would never have slapped him...
