Amazing and Disgusting

My rant (please ignore if you don't like it, I just wanna express my point) :

Honestly, that entire scene and the way karthik was talked down to, looked at like a criminal and was humiliated by naksh in even a civilised manner actually topped some of the awkward and cold treatment naira got from goenka's during this track. Karthik is finally getting treated to some of the harsh treatment naira received from his family, and I loved it. Although the look on karthik's face 🥺 He looked so shocked and fragile amidst the hostility that the singhania's were giving him, as he is used to them pampering him and putting him on a pedestal, so this was something he wasn't expecting from them. Whenever naira is face to face with goenka's, she knows what to expect from them as she has seen their nature, but karthik... he was not prepared to see this more colder and hostile side to his now ex-in-laws who he saw as a loving and accepting family that treated him like a son. He needed to get his head out of his ego-filled backside, and now that he has started to get out of there, he is being treated to some humble pie.

I have to applaud rishi for that scene though. He displayed the perfect balance between being hostile and being civilised.

The way Kartik and his family insulted Naira time and again over the last 2-3 months( let's not even talk about tracks before that) was way more hostile than how Naksh spoke yesterday. These Goenkas can dish it but can't take it. Jab khud ki insult ki baat hoti hai to tameez, morality, time, occasion sab yaad aata hai par dusre ko ye apne naukar samajhte hain.

In precap, MKD is blasting Devyani for Naksh insulting Kartik. Jab Kartik and KDadi ne Ghar mein ghus kar Naira ko apne hi Bhai ki engagement par aane se mana kiya tha, tab koi etiquette nahi yaad aaye. Tum dusro k Ghar jaa kar unhe insult kar sakte ho par wo aage se kuch bolne ka haq bhi nahi rakhte! Ye double standards to invent hi Goenkas ne kiye hain.

Jab bhi Naira ki insult ki baat hoti thi tab koi nahi bolta tha ki inn Goenkas ki aukaat nahi hai Naira ko kuch bolne ki. Ab Naksh ki baari mein sab ko uski aukaat yaad aa gyi. Ab to jitni insult Singhaniyas ko Goeankas ki karni hai kare, I stand by it!

Is it just me but when Naira was being insulted in the Goenka home it didn't bother us as much as seeing Karthik getting mildly insulted yesterday. I feel we were meant to feel bad for him yesterday especially seeing his state in the car eating those kachori's. I feel as if writers want us to feel really bad for Karthik despite how he has treated Naira in the past.

Nope, it's not just you. That is what get on my nerves. They normalise Naira being insulted bcz DIL is a doormat. Big deal if she gets insulted. Kdadi insults her and everyone goes unki to aadat hai. Kartik insults her and everyone says bcz he is hurt, he is lashing out. But Kartik got insulted(if you could call it that) and the fandom exploded.

Naksh did what any brother will do. You'll try to make sure that your sister's ex doesn't cause her anymore pain and make sure that she moves on. Sometimes i wonder If Goenkas forget that Keerti is also their daughter and that she is married to a Singhania. The mom only has eyes and heart for her son and Kdadi doesn't care cause she knows that Singhanias will never illtreat her.
