If I were her, I would just leave for Mumbai without consulting anyone. And get going with the fellowship and life beyond
Q for CVs : Why introduce a talented achiever and a sorted "today's" girl if you cannot allow her to follow her dreams? If she was meant to be stuck in this BS family politics, then you could have introduced any "paanchvi class paas" ...and the story would have still been the same. The girl could have been her mother's wedding planning assistant and still been strong headed

And Rithwik was shown as a prodigy who has been winning awards since very young. But he is now mired down in family conspiracies and is hardly able to get a voice in. Why write down such strong character descriptions if you cannot capitalize on the same?

why is separation and leaving someone such a favorite of everyone? why cannot we hope for them to sit down and sort their issues once their emotions and anger calm down..

Because this time it's question of Palak's self respect. if she had agreed to talk to Ritwik he will never ever respect her again and if husband does not respect wife than nobody from that family will respect her ever. I know that both love each other but one even has to maintain their self respect of herself and her parents. Same goes to Ricky as well if Palak had insulted his parents but all limits have been crossed by Noon family. They think they are family of kings and queens and have right to insult anybody but I am.glad somebody corrected their thought process.

I don't think she should just leave. Because it would be like she is wrong so running away from situation. She can stay in Delhi and ignore rocky and noons if they cross path. She will leave for Mumbai and lead her life but here in Delhi people will harass her parents with taunts and their bullshit. She can't leave her parents like this.

Leaving means running away from problem n it never solved issues once
.. so no point trying again

I think she should stick to her 4 year no marriage clause concentrate on her career , help NGOs ...

There are a lot of comments which indicate that my thread has been taken as a suggestion for escaping Delhi and escaping a situation
My comment was not about escaping, but about going forward with your life the way it was meant to be. Mumbai was where Palak had an ongoing fellowship, therefore the suggestion. (Mumbai was an escape earlier, but as of now it has become the right opportunity for Palak which should be pursued) .

Plus, everyone has a parallel life, a career, work. Instead of making the clock stop and letting waters stagnate, why not get on with life? Same thing for Rithwik. Both of them should live their potential to the fullest. This will also allow time to heal the bitterness and that will help them come back together in better senses

This is why I have written about why should CVs write down characters who are achievers if you can't exploit this in your story? The way you write your characters should be consistently reflected in the story, not sidelined totally after a few episodes

I agree we should take a break from constant Shadi track ..

I would love to see a career growth track for some time ..where both try to grow strong individually then they can take a stand for themselves

Yeah. What's with this Shadi and all.
She should focus on her career for time being. She and Ricky both need to sort out their heads.

Their family needs to stop meddling with their lives
