I really think that Rati made the right decision choosing this role because she didn't just play a typical mother. Anusuya has always been a strong woman without overdoing it and it's very important for audiences to see such female role models (both for men and women).
The fact that you feel that way, as do many of us here, shows that she did a very good job professionally and personally. She expanded her professional network which will always help with getting even better roles and she now has many colleagues/friends who are witness to her professionalism. In this world where women still face a lot of discrimination, the fact that SidT selected her before any of the other actors were found or signed tells you how important she has been.
Cheer for her and enjoy the scenes you get, and continue to be the proud fan you are. I know it's not easy but keep in mind sometimes the death of characters in this way give them the status of a martyr, which elevates them to a level they may not have reached if they had lived to an old age. Also, as her avid supporter, you need to stay here and support the people in Anusuya's life who will be devastated by this, especially Porus and Bamni. That's what Anusuya would want, and I'm sure Rati would too. 🤗
