Tejasswi Prakash bags Shashi Sumeet Productions' next on Star Plus

The makers of popular shows Diya Aur Baati Hum, Pehredaar Piya Ki and Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai are all set to make a mythological show for Star Plus. And, we at India-Forums bring to you exclusive details about the show.
The mythological show will be titled Karn Sangini. And, from what we hear, Tejasswi Praskash has been roped in to play the female lead.
This will be Tejasswi's third show with Shashi Sumeet Production as the the actress has also been a part of Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya and Pehredaar Piya Ki prior to this one.
We contacted Tejasswi who told us, "Talks are on but nothing is confirmed yet."

The fans of actress Tejasswi Prakash were in for a pleasant surprise a few days ago, where it was confirmed that she will be making her return to the small screen with yet another Shashi Mittal-Sumeet Mittal show ahead.
The show is a contemporary one with a mythological backdrop to it. Tejasswi, as known will be playing the role of Urvi, Karna's wife.
And now, according to reports, the male lead aka Karna has been finalized and actor Aashim Gulati has been roped in the play the role.
Yes! That's right. Aashim was last seen playing a role with grey shades in Star Plus' short-lived show, Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara last year.
The actor was the first choice to play the male lead and the same has now been finalized.

The show is currently titled, Karna Sangini.

Rehaan Roy, who was last seen in Agnifera will soon be seen in a new avatar. The actor will be seen in Star Plus mythological show. We have exclusively reported about Tejasswi Prakash being roped in for the Shashi Sumeet show on Star Plus.

The show, tentatively titled Karna Sangini will trace the journey of the tragic hero Karna and his relationship with his wife.

According to the reports, Rehaan has joined the show and will be playing the character of Dushasan. Rehaan is also in talks for a Zee TV show, where he will be seen as the lead.
When contacted, Rehaan refused to comment on the same.

Producers Shashi Mittal-Sumit Mittal are back in the news, as they will be launching their new show, Karna Sangini soon. The show will be starring actress Tejasswi Prakash as the female lead, while Aashim Gulati will be playing the male lead.

The casting of the show has been going on in full force, and the latest to join the bandwagon is actor Sushant Marya. Sushant is best known for his stint in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and in Karna Sangini, he will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar.
Sushant will be seen playing the role of Sahdev, the youngest of the Pandavas. Sahdev was one of the finest swordsmen in the Mahabharata.

Star Plus' much awaited show Karna Sangini has already been making news as popular actress Tejasswi Prakash from Pehredaar Piya Ki and Ashim Gulathi were roped in for playing the lead roles. And now we hear that actos Kinshuk Vaidya, Paras Chhabra and Karan Sharma will also join the star cast of Shashi Sumeet's show.
Karna Sangini is based on the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata where the story will revolve around the life of Karna and his wife Urvi.
Kinshuk rose to fame with Shakalaka Boom Boom and was last seen on 'Woh Apna Sa' will be seen portraying the role of Arjun, Splitsvilla Winner Paras Chhabra has been approached for the role of Duryodhan and Karan Sharma, who was last seen on Zee Tv's Kaala Teeka will be playing the character of Krishna.
The show is expected to telecast in September and we are thrilled to watch the mythological series soon.

Madirakshi Mundle, who rose to fame with Star Plus' Siya Ke Ram, was last seen in Sony TV's Jaat Ki Jugni opposite Vishal Vashisht and is now all set to return to Television with Star Plus' Karna Sangini.

Star Plus' Karna Sangini has already been making news as popular actress Tejasswi Prakash from Pehredaar Piya Ki and Ashim Gulathi were roped in for playing the lead roles.

And now, we hear that popular television actor Madirakshi will join the star cast of Shashi Sumeet's show. She has been roped in to play the role of Draupadi in the show.

Star Plus is all set and rolling with a new set of shows, where it recently launched Nazar and will now be presenting the much-awaited reboot, Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

However, the line-up has added another show and that is the upcoming Aashim Gulati and Tejasswi Prakash starrer, Karna Sangini. The show has been in talks for a while and will be produced by Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal.
And now, here we have information on when will the show be going on-air. According to reports, the show will be going on-air from 1st October at 7 p.m.
The show will also feature Kinshuk Vaidya, Paras Chhabra, Rehaan Roy among others.

Star Plus has a list of new shows coming up this season one, of course, being the much-awaited Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot. According to reports, the channel is all prepared to launch Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal produced Karna Sangini, starring Tejasswi Prakash and Aashim Gulati in the lead on the 1st of October at the 7:00 PM slot.
Karna Sangini is based on the epic Mahabharat revolving around the life of Karnas wife Urvi. As reported earlier, actor Kinshuk Vaidya, Paras Chhabra, and Karan Sharma have been roped in, to play the characters of Arjun, Duryodhan, and Lord Krishna respectively.
With this ensemble cast, it is to see if the show hooks up the audience or not.

MUMBAI: Star Plus is set to roll out a new mythological show Karna Sangini by Shashi Sumeet Productions. The show has already been creating a buzz with regard to its ensemble cast.
It will feature Aashim Gulati and Tejasswi Prakash in lead roles. Tejasswi has been finalized to play the role of Urvi, while Aashim has bagged the part of Karna.
TellyChakkar exclusively reported about Ek Nayyi Pehchaan fame Karan Sharma being finalized to play Krishna in the series.
We now have information that Karna Sangini is likely to go on-air from 1 October at 7 PM. Currently, Star Plus airs Sabse Smart Kaun from 6.30 to 7.30 PM.
Karna Sangini will also feature Kinshuk Vaidya, Paras Chhabra, Rehaan Roy, and Madirakshi Mundle.
