Chapter 84

Bachelorettes and cocktails Bachelors and Gatecrashing

A private affair but nothing could be hidden from our watchful eyes.

Vikrant Singh Khurana is set to marry in a week's time to his long time girlfriend Meera Singhania.

Yesterday the bride to be Khurana had her bachelorette party whilst her bachelor had his.

Pictures from each private affair splashed over facebook and Instagram.

The bachelorette had her a small get together with her friends at a friend's farmhouse where they played various games.

One of which happened to be Drink if... From the following pictures we see our bachelorette doing shots with her friends. They seem to be having loads of fun. Sadly it was a small private affair where we were not invited (not fair).

The pictures that were posted later on is what surprised us most. The girls in black cocktail dresses were seen in JJ's bar the bar which usually takes months to book yourselves in!

The girls were on their scavenger hunt when the boys came gatecrashing their party!

Witnesses state Vikrant had whisked away his bride to be whilst she was being given a lap dance.

But are seen dancing later on and even sharing a kiss.

Once again Bachelor Maan Khurana has been spotted by the bar with Karan M Khurana drinking.

Our curious eyes once again go to this picture where Maan Khurana has been spotted with Meera's friend Geet Handa in a dark corner of the club.

They seem awfully cosy don't they?

Can we hear wedding bells for Maan Khurana anytime soon?

Or will the Khuranas surprise us with a double wedding?

"Well...shit" Vikrant closed the newspaper. "If they see these pictures they're going to have a heart attack"

"Maybe tell Araina lot to make their facebook and whatever else account private so media don't get a hold of it?" Ranbir suggested.

"But how did they get a hold of this picture?" Vikrant gestured to his brother and bhabhi in the dark corner. "It's obvious someone is either following or someone noticed who they were and snapped pictures" he responded.

"Yeah, it's easy to follow someone these days. Newspapers will have their sources and whatever else..." Ranbir trailed off. "What are you going to do?"

"Nothing can be done right now. I just have to make sure my brother and bhabhi don't see this" Vikrant sighed heavily.

"Aren't they going to tell media?" Ranbir questioned.

"Bhabhi isn't ready for the exposure of their marriage yet. There's going to be reporters all over this if they were to know that Maan bhai is already married"

"Yeah it's like one of those news that make the front page" Ranbir nodded.

"They're going to want to know everything about bhai and bhabhi..."

"Yeah, I suppose..."

"Meera already mentioned she's noticed some reporters hanging around at the end of her street. She's already hating them" Vikrant added.

"Someone took a picture of her going to the mall and they speculated it was to surprise me on my wedding night" Vikrant rolled his eyes. "Thankfully she doesn't read newspaper and gossip crap because I know she'd be so annoyed. She probably would say no and back off"

"I don't understand the damn reporters. Your brother is known for his business and being one of the hottest bachelors in Delhi so I don't understand why they're following him around. He's a businessman" Ranbir frowned.

"Have you seen his fan page?" Vikrant questioned.

"He's got a fan page?"

"Yeah, he appeared three times in the magazine where they do that poll for Delhi's hottest bachelor. He's got a fan page, some people fantasize him as a character in this show or something. I would've understood if my brother was acting but bloody heck..." he shook his head. "I sometimes feel for bhai... Someone might recognise him and they post it on facebook or something saying they saw him"

"God! I don't even want to imagine how he feels..." Ranbir sighed...

"Maan..." Dadima knocked loudly. "Bete it's nearly time for lunch and you're both still sleeping" she called.

Geet moaned pressing her hand to her ear and shuffled closer hiding her face into the hollow of her husband's neck.

"Maan..." Dadima called again.

"We're up" Maan replied. "And coming down"

"Good... come down quickly. You need to eat lunch then you need to do me a few favours" she shook her head returning downstairs.

"Geet..." Maan called.

"Shh... too loud" she winced. Her head was throbbing.

"Dadima wants us downstairs" he muttered softly.

"I don't think I can move..." she complained lifting her head looking at him with only one eye open. "I'm never ever going to drink" she squeezed her eyes closed.

"Hmm... okay" he sat up pressing a kiss to her jaw. "I'm going to shower... join me?"

"I can't..." she shook her head. "I'm still so tired" she yawned stretching her arms up.

"Alright, sleep for some more" he pressed a kiss to her forehead and headed towards the bathroom. Geet turned onto her stomach grabbing his pillow and closed her eyes again. But now couldn't sleep.

She groaned sitting up and glanced around holding her head. I'm going to kill every single one of them! This is what they enjoy feeling after drinking

She dragged herself out of bed frowning when she stared at herself in the mirror, her face was all messy, her makeup was swiped here and there, her mascara and eyeliner were spoiled, her hair seemed like a nest right now and her dress was hitched up almost showing her panties... She pulled her dress down covering her face. What the hell... How did her husband even kiss her when she was in this state? She looked like a panda's twin.

She grabbed her wipes from her dresser drawer and started on wiping her face, by the time Maan emerged she was makeup free and her hair pulled into a small messy bun.

"You okay?" Maan questioned concerned.

"I will be... once I kill all of them" she muttered.

"It's worse when it's your first one" he wrapped his arms around her pressing a kiss to the side of her neck.

"I'll never be having another one" she responded tilting her head to the side.

Maan smiled. "C'mon... go and shower. Dadima wants us downstairs as soon as..."

She nodded sliding the towel from his neck and walked to the bathroom slowly.

Maan chuckled when he felt her arms wrap around his middle and her cheek pressed to his shoulder blade. "Done?"

"Hmm... I want to go back to sleep. The hot water just made me want to sleep"

Maan turned around sliding his arms around her. "You'll feel better once you eat something. Dadima brought this up though" he pointed to the tall glass.

"What is it?" she questioned.

"Cucumber juice, it's going to rehydrate you quickly. Also when you eat, you'd start feeling better" he explained.

Geet grabbed the glass hoping it'd work. She'd never had a headache so massive that she felt as if her brain was throbbing. She chugged it down.

"Feeling better?" he asked.

"Nope, but I'm not feeling so thirsty" she responded.

"Alright, c'mon dadima is waiting downstairs for us. Lunch is all ready"

"Lunch?" Geet frowned. She glanced over at the clock and looked at Maan in surprised. "We've been asleep all this time?" she gasped.

"It happens Geet" Maan shrugged.

"What are your family going to think of me?" she pressed her hand on her forehead.

"Nothing" Maan sighed. "They're no one to judge" he rolled his eyes.

"They're probably thinking it if they're not saying it" Geet pouted.

"Just come downstairs" Maan placed his hand on the small of her back leading her towards the door.

"Oh God..." Geet halted when she remembered what she was supposed to be doing today.

"What's wrong?" Maan questioned.

"I was supposed to be meeting Puja and go to Meera's place. We're supposed to be helping with the decorating of Meera's place"

"What for?"

"Mendhi" she replied.

"Eat lunch first, then I'll drop you off" he informed.

"I hate all my friends" Geet mumbled.

"Don't worry, I hate them too" he replied.

"You hate everyone" Geet rolled her eyes.

"I like you" he reminded.

"If I wasn't so adorable and cute you probably would've still hated me" she giggled.

"I think you're still drunk" Maan countered shaking his head.

"I am no..."

"Geet, Maan jaldi aiyye" Dadima called noticing them.

"Ji dadima" Geet answered and joined everyone on the table. Maan cursed inwardly when he saw half of his relatives sat on the table. He'd successfully been able to stay away due to work and had been having his lunch in his room or his office but now...

Damn it he'd forgotten about them for a moment.

Geet cursed her luck when Jyothi aunty the woman who kept on asking when she'd be giving some good news came and sat on the chair opposite her. It seemed like it wasn't her day when Juhi settled on her left.

"Maan bete sit down" dadima pointed to his chair.

Maan glanced at Geet who seemed to be already uncomfortable and he didn't think he'd be able to last through lunch sat with them.

"Actually dadima, I just remembered..." Maan started. "Me and Geet have somewhere else to be... Puja is waiting for Geet as well"

Geet caught on what her husband was saying and nodded when dadima looked at her.

"At least have lunch..." Dadima pointed.
"We'll grab something on the way" Maan replied.

"Teek hai" dadima agreed nodding her head.

Maan drove Geet to a local caf where they'd gotten some lunch and ate together exchanging a few words, both were comfortable in the silence. Geet was still recovering from her hangover and Maan had a meeting later which occupied his thoughts.

Once they'd finished Maan dropped Geet off at Meera's place where Puja was already waiting for her.

"Do you need me to pick you up afterwards?" Maan asked as Geet grabbed her bag.

"No, I'll be home late today" she replied. "There's a lot of stuff that needs doing and the mehndi is tomorrow evening" she informed. "I'll text you later"

"Alright, have a nice day" he smiled as she climbed out. She waved at him before heading to the house and he drove away heading towards the office.

"What are you doing here?" Geet chuckled seeing Amelia in the backyard as she were assessing the large garden.

"I'm here to help" Amelia replied. "Yaar I hate being in the unknown" she complained.

"Oh I don't mind you lot knowing about mehndi" Geet shrugged. "Because it's happening at Meers' place and she'd know anyways"

"Where is Meera though?" Puja questioned looking around.

"She's out meeting some relatives today" Geet replied. "Apparently they're not able to come to wedding so they're throwing some get together"

"Oh, okay" Puja nodded.

"Anyways I'll just let Veena aunty know we're here" Geet excused herself going into the house.

"Aunty" Geet called.

"Kitchen main hoon" Veena responded.

"Kaisi hai Geet?" Veena grinned wiping her hands and walked over hugging Geet.

"Teek hoon aunty. Aap teek hai? Uncle kaise hai?"

"We're all good, since that girl has got engaged she hasn't stopped talking" Veena shook her head. "Yaaken nahi hota ke Meera chali jayegi... Sab kuch itni jaldi..." she sighed.

"She's not living so far" Geet smiled. "And we'll both come and visit all the time"

"Shadi ke baad sab kuch badal jata hai" Veena laughed. "These promises you, young girls keep aren't able to keep them" she teased.

"Aunty you're going to see us visiting that you're going to wish we'd stop coming by" Geet winked. "Anyway Raj uncle kahan hai?" she glanced around.

"He's gone with Meera today, he hasn't seen his sister for some time as well" she explained. "Khair it's us ladies today so it should be fun"

Geet agreed then explained of what they'd like for the backyard mehndi they planned.

Veena did her give her inputs on the decorations wanting to make sure her daughter has the best mehndi.

The day passed quickly when Amelia, Geet and Puja got down to working on arranging everything for the mehndi. Veena also informed them Meera will be back in the morning as her cousins want her to stay over the night which was more than fine with them.

Veena also requested the girls stay over for the night not wanting to be alone, Puja and Amelia agreed immediately though Geet needed a little convincing. She finally agreed after being coaxed by all of them.

She text dadima and Maan and let them know she was staying over, dadima replied back quickly with a smile, her husband however...

What?

What sort of question is what? I said I'm staying over at Meera's.

Why?

Because I want to?

Maan rolled his eyes. Not funny wife.

I wasn't trying to be funny ;)

You're going to be going over there tomorrow anyway, so why do you need to stay over tonight?

Are you missing me? ;)

Maan read over her response and wondered whether he should be honest or tease her.

I'm only asking because I don't want you calling me midnight and asking me to pick you up.

How mean!

Maan laughed. Are you upset with me?

I hope you make your bed on the sofa Geet smirked.

Maan stared surprised at his screen. I'm shivering Geet

You will be when you have no bed to sleep in

Maan laughed and shook his head. What are you doing now?

Scared that you're changing the topic? And by the way to answer such an obvious question I'm texting you.. that's what I'm doing

I see Amelia is rubbing off on you. Can I have my wife back? No Amelia's twin.

That wasn't a very funny joke. I gotta go now, Veena aunty needs some help.

Geet smiled sending another kiss to him via text and pocketed her phone then joined Veena outside where she'd gotten the cushions and mats out...

Are you asleep? Geet read over the text Maan sent and smiled.

Not yet

I'm still not tired

Why?

I think I miss having you here he typed back smiling softly.

It's been nearly over a year since we've gone to sleep in different places

I think you should come back

It's very late, I don't want to be a damsel in distress

I'll come pick you up he instantly replied.

Geet chuckled, she glanced around the room where she'd lain on the bedding, Amelia, Puja on her left and Veena on her right. She slowly stood and tiptoed out the room heading into the backyard and settled on the hammock dialling his number.

"Hello..." He answered immediately.

"Missing me?" she asked softly blushing.

"No, I'm missing my pillow" Maan answered.

"Why don't you just say you're missing me?" she frowned.

"Because I already said it once when I was texting and I don't like repeating myself"

Geet rolled her eyes. "Mazak kar rahe hai kya?"

"Obvious answer Geet" he chuckled.

"Maan..." she whined.

"Okay, okay" he laughed. "Do you want me to come pick you up?"

"No, it's very late and I don't want to be missing from here and these lot will be teasing me if they knew..." she muttered.

"How's your headache?" he turned onto his side.

"It's gone" she responded. "Thanks to the cucumber juice this morning... I will never drink ever again"

"I wanted to ask, do you remember much of yesterday?" he questioned curiously. He'd completely forgot to ask this morning and wondered whether she remembered.

Geet smiled, tinges of red touched her cheek.

"Hmm..." she hummed biting down on her lip.

"Good" he smiled. "I always want you to feel you're free"

"I've been free since I've married you" she spoke softly. "that's probably the only best thing my family have done for me" she added.

They're not family Maan thought to himself. "Aren't you tired? It's nearly 2am"

"Not able to sleep anymore" she giggled.

"Do you want to go out for a drive?" he asked.

"At this time?" she stopped swinging herself in the hammock.

"Just leave a note saying you've gone for a drive or something... I'll come pick you up" he suggested. "You'd probably be back within an hour or so" he added.

"No it's... they're all going to tease me" Geet shook her head.

"Geet you're going with your husband not some boyfriend" he joked. "It's not wrong to go out with your husband..."

"I know but..."

"If you don't want to go then it's fine" he relented. "I'll take Krystal"

"Maan" Geet hissed.

"What? You said you don't want to go"

"I said no because I wanted to go with Arav" she tossed.

"Geet" Maan cursed.

"It's tit for tat" Geet smiled smugly.

"We'll see tit for tat tomorrow when you're back" he replied.

"Whatever" she mumbled.

"Geet come out" Maan told her.

"What?" she sat up.

"I'm in the car, come out"

"What are you doing here?" she frowned tiptoeing and walked to the backyard fence and peered over it. Sure enough, Maan was parked up outside.

"We're going for a drive. Just leave a note for them or something" he suggested.

"I don't know..." she responded slowly looking over her shoulder nervously.

"It's gonna be either you or Krytal sitting in the passenger seat..." he mocked.

"Aap na..." she hissed.

"Come on..." he drawled.

"Okay, okay" she rolled her eyes, quickly scribbling a note on her scrap book and placed it on her pillow then slid the door closed. She wrapped her shawl around her shoulders and hurried towards the car. Once she'd climbed in, Maan didn't waste a second, he grasped her cheek and pressed his lips against hers.

Geet closed her eyes clutching on to his shoulders blushing furiously, she hadn't realised how much she'd missed him till he'd touched her. Clearly the way he was kissing her seemed like he missed her today. She slid her arms around his neck pulling him closer as he deepened their kiss, she knew her husband didn't really voice his feelings much, he showed it better through his actions.

Maan pulled away pressing his forehead to hers.

"I missed you too" she whispered blushing furiously. Maan closed his eyes smiling faintly. He hadn't needed to voice what he was feeling because Geet clearly understood.

When had their relationship become so understanding that they'd understood each other when they were unable to voice it. Their actions seemed to do most of the talking.

He pressed another soft kiss to her lips blissfully losing himself in his wife unaware of hungry eyes watching and snapping.

I was about to say the same that how come they are sharing pictures in social media freely and expect not to get into the eyes of media, and keep hiding maan-geet marriage?

expect the unexpected,dis is something i could think of after reading dis update. never thought that geet will come out as MRs. Khurana through a scandal.

Finally media got some masala😛 o my days!!!! I cannot wait to see maan n geet's reaction after being on news while kissing!!!

Lovely update!!! I did wonder about the public Facebook profiles when they know that privacy is to be maontamainfor maan and geet and the boys noticed that right off still maan Vikrant or Karan didn't stop the girls. But writers liberty is allowed...what is bigger issue is hiding newspaper...I wonder won't maan read it at home or office or won't anyone inform him of it...but the banter was the cake and the kiss was the icing and the photographers will be dhamaka...waiting
