it's a very complicated dish in the first place , overdoing a particular spice will turn the scale of balance and what should be relished , one will not favour it at all
The Hoodas are full of spice expect for Arjun, I can't see through him . By choosing Arshads biryani, she isn't going for presentation, taste or flavour . Not a typical master chef type approach. Zoya wants everything to be sweet and simple
