Blind: Guess which director is not in the mood to reshoot the film

The pursuit of perfection is a laudable objective but it is also important to know where to draw a line in a time- and cost-sensitive vocation such as filmmaking.

This film has already missed a couple of its scheduled trysts with the box office on account of substantial reshoots and extensive VFX requirements. Finally, it seemed all content-related issues had been sorted and things were back on track for the film to carry out its VFX and other post-production requirements to get ready for release.

But as often happens in this line, producer proposes, star disposes. On watching the new rushes of the film with the reshot portions, the film's main lead still wasn't satisfied and ordered further reshoots. And this seems to be the last straw that has finally broken the director's patience. He has told the producers that they are welcome to reshoot but he (the director) will take no part in it and that the star might as well direct the remaining portions.

Hmm... we can't wait for the next promo of this film. Not so much for its content but to see whose name features in the Directed By' credit!

😕 gee... I wonder who that can be...

Thugs of Hindustan I think. This is very similarly worded to the other blind posted by Tinah, but this one talks about the main lead (Aamir probably) not happy with Victors direction (Anyone who has seen Dhoom 3 and Tashan would agree he's not the best director).

Definitely Robot2. Last year this time it was supposed to release Republic Day 2018. Then it moved to April 2018. It might have had a couple of other shifts too.

Wasn't there some news about manikarnika reshooting some portions and how Krish is not available so the producers have to call in some other director for the reshoot. I guess someone from the set also confirmed about the reshoot.

It can't be TOH...because Aamir istoo big a star for any director...except may be Hirani😆...to say no to him to reshoot...but then the same thing applies for Robot 2 too...it as Thalaiva and Akki...looks like Manikarnika maybe...which is sad because I am looking forward to this movie.😛

Well yeah perfection is aamir, but maybe they are taking a dig at the situation that perfection is not always possible.
Victor was happily posing with aamir and his family this week on eid pics. No last straw here plus thugs was always going to release in diwali 2018.
Funny how ak said robot is a brilliant script and sure shot blockbuster and he loved it. Dint do it cox he coudnt imagine himself replacing rajnikant🤪

Producer is Yashraj and they won't take jibber jabber of so called mr perfect. Why is it that TOH makers are refusing to release trailer or first look. Everything is surely not rosy 😆
