father of two daughters. Pooja Bhatt and
Alia Bhatt have not only proved themselves
as strong, independent women but have
achieved success in their respective careers.
Talking about Alia, who has been on a roll
since the past few years by delivering
power packed performances in films like
Udta Punjab, Highway and Raazi, Mahesh
Bhatt said that he is astounded by the
variety of films she is doing.
Lately, reports have emerged that the
actress will be tying the knot to her beau
Ranbir Kapoor next year. During an event,
when her father was asked about their
relation, he said, "I have never spoken
about my children's private lives. They are
adults and it is their prerogative. I would
never demean and belittle them by talking
about it in public. It's their right and if they
want to talk about it or to remain silent
about it; it's their choice. I respect what
they do with their life.
He also revealed an advice that he and his
family are constantly giving Alia. He said,
"One thing that we have collectively
succeeded in advising her as a family is 'you
may have achieved tremendous
achievements today but you have only
scratched the surface and have miles to go'.
because I feel that the worst enemy of any
person in any business is the delusion
when he or she feels that I am the god's
gift to mankind. She is good but there is
always somebody far more brilliant than
her. She should keep her eyes open to see
that.
Alia will next be seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully
Boy. After which she has Abhishek
Verman's Kalank, Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra
and Karan Johar's Takht lined up. Definitely
exciting times ahead for the actress.
