I think the precap was a well spoken statement. A lot of posts have already been made on this regarding how Aditya should back off now.
May be yes , may be no.
Our outlook is based on what a normal person in love should do. I understand it was expected from Aditya to consider zoya's perception regarding this relationship , it is obvious for us to expect Adi to not let his self-respect be this brutally crushed by waseem and not to let zoya take him for granted.
But what I guess , we are failing to see is Aditya is coming from a very different scenario, courtesy , his past.
He was blamed to be a reckless lover who failed to make his wife realise that he indeed loved her. To hide his love for zoya now is probably the scariest thing for him. The way how I am seeing is , all Aditya cares right now is to make and realise zoya about his love , irrespective of how she feels. Not once has he said or acknowledged that ' shayad zoya bhi mujhse mohabbat karti hai'
It was always about ''mai zoya se mohabbat karta hu'
Manipulation has never been his thing. He never believed in making people feel good about him , which resulted in his own wife leaving him because she cornered him with his transparency and his inability to show how much she meant to him.
He may be trying to impress waseem to woo zoya but the only reason why his conscious is making him do this is because he wants zoya to know that she matters to him the most and he is even ready to make up with abbu as he is important to her.
With pooja , the then aditya didn't know it was a necessity to make efforts to make the other person feel loved. His idea was 'pyaar hai toh baar baar zikra kya karna'
He had no idea that his dislikes for shayri and poetry is becoming a contributing factor in pooja's drifting away from him.
Now this Aditya, whome the life has given a second chance , he is making sure he is not going the same path as before. Even if it takes learning shayri , he will do it if it is making her realise that she is important.
With pooja , Aditya didn't know there's a chance for your lady love to have other options to fall in love. Pooja choosing other man has scarred him so deep that with every breath he takes , he is afraid that zoya may choose arshad over him.
It's easy to say that aditya needs to back off , but for him , it's a need for him to keep fighting so that there's never a scene again where he is pointed out for not trying hard.
Aditya is ready to change if this is what it is needed in love , to be accepted by the person who has your heart, and his change is heartbreaking for me.

Zoya needs to make him believe this , that she will love him even if he doesn't like shayris.
Dear zoya , you are making an already broken man believe that may be he's not worth it. May be he's not good enough.
Please wake up before it's too late even for you to bring him back this time. You are causing something more lethal than pooja. You are making him believe that all what he thought he was , is actually true.
