Definitely good numbers & good rank considering the first of udaan 'Anjor ki'..Next week gives us a better perception..I expected the number to increase big thinking that the audience would be watching out of curiosity as to what happened to SuKor, or atleast the promo of ChaJor meeting should have an impact..But, It seems a cold response..

Unless the show is around 2, doing better in dailies, they can experiment however they want..IN MY OPINION, these numbers look like those set of viewers, who are watching the show out of habit/ being used to it..

I think they want to turn it to a kids show and the excessive promotion was to lure new audience to compensate for the lost ones. If it was a regular leap, they wouldn't have promoted Anjor in all their shows like they did.

The next two weeks will tell if they succeeded in keeping the viewers or not. The question is if it doesn't, will Colors let them shift the focus back to Sukor? or will they wrap the show up and bring another show that fits their vision?

Udaan first week trps around 1.8 and it increased in next weeks as around 2.2 or 2.3.

Now this is not a new show and it doesn't require time to pick up as Kulfi.

And they were very confident with Anjor and Nazim's entry

It shows in their promotions and first week episodes.

And first week ratings doesn't guarantee anything as after 1.5 leap,first week trp increased but started to fall in 2nd week.

But here first week itself trp decreased that too after promoting Anjor so much and in other shows.

Now 2nd week become very crucial.

I think if Colors wanted Anjors story badly and if they didn't want focus back on Sukor they would kill them off earlier and risked. But they kept them so I think there are big chances they will focus on Sukor (but maybe not for long) if they don't keep viewership.

Trps in next weeks and content of the show are most important and will decide.

If Colors are smart enough they won't destroy their longest running show, still succesful one coz of their wishes not considering audience respond on it. What I think can happen is that they will keep and focus on Sukor but maybe Udaan will get change of time slot and colors will bring new show according to their wishes or they will shut some other less performing show and bring new one according to these preferences. (They always have at least one show with kids, maybe focusing on Anjor is not only coz of Kulfi.)

Risking and playing drastically with long succesful show just because of wishes or trying to compete with other shows will be stupid and suicidal.

But I think they're trying to copy elements from Kulfi and that's why they kept Sukor. There the focus of the story is about her bond with her father while both of them are unaware of their true relationship and I think that's part of what they'll show here. They are mixing elements of young Chakor's Udaan with Kulfi.

So far all they did was character introduction, the true drama started from yesterday. I think they aired the Saturday special because they realized the response was lukewarm and they needed to speed up the story.

I'm just happy that they didn't get an increase, they thought Samriddhi and Nazim will be the new Spandan and Sai Sir.
