Gold has recorded the fifth highest first week number of 2018 while Satyamev Jayate is the eighth highest of the year. Gold is after the four films that crossed 100 crore net in the first week. They are Sanju, Padmaavat, Race 3 and Baaghi 2.
Satyameva Jayate has done well to have first week collections just a little short of films like Raid and Padman. Overall the combined total of the two films has come out lower than the much maligned Race 3 with around 137 crore nett as against the 140 crore nett for Race 3. Though in terms of lifetime totals, the films combined total should do better as they should go past the 175 crore nett mark while Race 3 was 166 crore nett.
The top first week collections of 2018 are as follows.

9. Raazi - 56,18,00,000
