Shanno Ki Shaadi now twice a week

Simple Shanno will now appear twice a week from December. The show that presently runs on Sundays, after Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, will start running on Saturdays too. Shailja Kejriwal, Star Plus's creative director, confirmed this development saying, "Yes, the show is going bi-weekly."

What prompted the channel to make this move? "It has been doing well for us. Also, Life Out Of Control (the channel's sitcom based on Indo-Pak relations) is going off air, and this is to take its place," she says. Now that the show is to run more frequently, can we expect any new characters? "No. All the characters have become popular with the audience, so we need not introduce new characters," Kejriwal says.
