Since the day I heard that you are doing a tv show based on the movie KANK, this song is stuck in my head and especially this line and the next ones... I sometimes kept wondering why these two lines?? Why do I keep reminding and humming these two lines all the times as if the song starts with this line and as if these two are the most meaningful lines of the song! Then it clicked, this song, if gets to feature in this show, will be featured on a lady, the lady with big, hazel eyes that talk too much and expresses more than words... So, this is my small dedication to the most beautiful and most expressive talkative pair of eyes...
A friend of mine, who met you a few years ago, told me that, when in front of you, your eyes catch most of the attention! To me, even in the tv screen, your eyes catch most of the attention! My cousin bro keeps liking the photos of you I upload, when asked whether he has a crush, his straight answer was "Her eyes... well! What can I say? even the Badshah SRK admired your EYES! these eyes were the first thing, that caught my attention too and among all your beautiful features, I notice them the most! I think, your eyes drawn me, whenever I see you onscreen and the reason is not just the beauty in them... but the way it talks! So much, they say... every possible expression, be it happiness or pain... be it naughtiness or numbness, be it calmness or angst... your eyes are capable of showing them all and within moments, can shift from one expression, to another!
For this character Nandini, there are moments of fewer dialogues or pure silence and only the BGM and the makers letting the eyes talk and the eyes are successful in speaking everything we want to hear! The makers are surely making a good use of the eyes I must say! Since the beginning of the show! For every subtle moment and every extreme moment! The night when Kunal saves Nandini from the truck, Nandini ka nazrein churana and later, the three steps up and three steps down of the eyelids, when Kunal was putting the bandage on Nandini's forehead, shame and gratefulness were clearly visible in these eyes! And moments before these two scenes, the hope for finding the long lost friend and the happiness of doing the thing she loves! Bohot smartly and quickly flip marti hai in aankhon ke expressions... and the day Nandini met Manas, the small hint of modesty and naughtiness in the club and the admiration for the shayeri told by Kunal... and the determined calmness, when Nandini went to give back the mangalsutra to Rajdeep!! All in the eyes... everything... EVERYTHING IN YOUR EYES... Sari duniya sama sakti hai, in baatuni aankhon mein... but my most favorite thing about your eyes, comes out when the tears come in them, because the tears do not come alone, it brings a number of emotions along with it... it's kind of two in one! It brought fear, when Rajdeep was torturing Nandini; disbelief, when Rajdeep said he sold her for Finance; the will to save the life inside her, while calling her friend while close to death in the deserted road; the strong will to not forgive the person who killed her child and the angst on herself when she found out she has feelings for the very wrong person... the tears in your eyes came with all these expressions, each different from the other! The in the last two cases, the tears were on fire... water and fire together... I donno about others, but I feel like no one can use their eyes to talk sooo much for them, like you do... in the show, more tears and all other feelings in the upcoming tracks... I will be waiting... to read the eyes and to witness, the fire even in the tears...
