What does 'silly RK-lover' have to do with his talent as a writer/director? I personally think Ayaan is a really good writer. You could see that even in a mediocre film like YJHD. I don't see what is so blasphemous about comparing him with Shakun. You may think Shakun is way out of Ayaan's league. I don't think so except I don't believe Shakun was as disillusioned with the failure of EMEAT as Ayaan was with WUS so he ended up making a half baked film (which ended up doing well and sort of compounded the problem in a way 😆). Anyway personally I think Shimit is one of the best directors in Bollywood and definitely better than Shakun (who is amazing in his own right) if we were to actually compare the two. And I don't think Hirani is overrated either. Far from it so we can definitely agree to disagree 😆
