there seems to be people scared making this genre now days. it is more the bio pics, patriotic movies and serious subject movies. is the audience not interested in these films anymore>

romance is getting outdated in this new world

romance dies in 2010

since then world has moved on to sex...ghapaghap...

girls no longer interested in emotions, tujhe dekha toh yeh jana sanam type crap...they want to be independent...they want to work..make money...be like boys...be free...they want to be like kanagana...oh tu kudi big bang di...sara london thumak daa...

boys were never into romance much...

marriage is being delayed...people who use to get married at 20...are now marrying at 30...

divorces here high

whole culture is being reshaped as social media has increased and exposure to west also

live ins are in

even in conservative settings ... people are getting liberal compared to their standards

in this day and age...rom com...main apne main ek hun type jab we met crap is not going to sell...main tenu samjhawan ki...type things do not appeal much

u give few ghapaghap scenes...post pics in red bikinis...that is going to see

this is why srk is no longer a hit

i dont see any future of romance in this world

world is moving towards ghapaghap

Well there have been huge hits in that genre in last few years

BKD was last major hit in that genre.

Well, I love eating Chole Bhature but If you feed me Chole Bhature all month, I'd definitely end up hating it and ask for something else. That is exactly what happened with the typical romance genre. People got bored of it coz that's all they got last decade.
