Guess Who?

Commitments and assurances count for little in our line of work, as we all know, but one still hopes against hope that some people's promises will prove to be the exception. Alas, that optimism rarely bears fruit as this star has found out.

This star agreed to feature in a recently released film despite not having a very meaty role purely because the film was supposedly going to deliver a message on an issue that is close to the star's heart. The actor was alarmed at not finding much mention of the issue while shooting for the film but was reassured by the makers that it was being addressed in great detail in other portions of the film. On watching the completed film, the star realised that those were only empty promises as the film paid only lip service to its professed mission.

Not surprisingly. The star is quite miffed with the makers and has vowed to never be taken for a similar ride again. As they say, once bitten, twice shy...
