I live in Shillong, where we have many guys and girls who don't follow Bollywood or Hindi serials.
They are mostly into Koreans or Hollywood sh!t.

While obviously here has watched 3idiots and Taare Zameen Par, as Aamir has great reputation even among non-BW people.

But generally people are not into BW.

So whenever people ask me which BW to see, I always recommend them GOW-1 and GOW-2, even download and share them.

And till now its track record among my circle is 100%, everyone is like, damn such movie is made in BW.
Although not many are fluent with Hindi, still they get the atmosphere and tone of the movie.

Which movie do you generally recommend your friends and colleagues who are into BW?

I had shown Queen and Highway to our HOD in while at Aircel.

She loved them both, and was full of praise for Alia and Kangu.

I haven't recommended a BW movie to anyone in a long time but during high school the non Indians seemed to be really charmed by pre 2010 SRK movies like Main Hoon Naa so classics like KKHH would be my go to. But that was many years ago. So now I'd recommend something like Piku if anyone asked.
